Tesla Model 3 & Model Y 'OPEN DOOR' Button Stickers (Set of 8)

Installed these to prevent new Tesla passengers from pulling on the emergency latch. It was super easy to install and they look great!

One of the oddities of the Tesla Model 3 is that the usual way one would open the front doors from the inside is only an emergency-use handle that can adversely affect the vehicle. The “approved” exit is to press a button on the top of the armrest extension that is identified only by a white hyphen symbol against a black background. The rear doors have the button only and no emergency handle.All first-time and some repeated passengers always ask how to open the doors. These stick-on labels are easy to read and identify the purpose of the button. They are a thin clear label that does not detract from the button’s appearance. The kit includes two complete sets of labels, and provides a good value for the cost.When applying, ensure the buttons are clean and dry. I used alcohol wipes to clean and dried with clean microfiber towel. If you are not a neurosurgeon, you may wish to use tweezers to help apply. Fat or clumsy fingers do not work well and risk wrinkling the thin decals. This is where that second included set may be helpful.In the months since I’ve applied these stickers, there has been no visible wear or slipping. Very pleased so far.

Bought for my son's car. Fits perfectly. Easy to place, and a plus, easy to see at night.

looks good easy to install but seems expensive for what is. the packaging (a simple zipper snack bag) is too easy to lose when packaged with any thing else. don't throw anything away until you find it!

These are stickers, but they were perfect for my Tesla Model 3. Installation took about 5 minutes for all doors and they look great! Now people are no longer trying to pull up on the emergency door release lever.

These stickers are better than nothing. In the right light, which is most of the time, it is obvious that it’s a sticker.It also is invisible at night. I wish the letters were “glow in the dark” like the line on the button is.But it certainly helps people who are unfamiliar with the car find the right button....during the day.

I got tired of telling people how to open the door from the inside so I finally gave in and decided to purchase these - I still have to tell people how to open the door hahaha but at least I just tell them to "Press the button that says OPEN DOOR" instead of trying to point to the button's location. I at least won't have to worry about people opening the manual door release and possibly breaking my door in the process (bad design/placement by Tesla IMHO).The only comment/improvement I have is to make the stickers slightly glow in the dark. I usually have my cabin lights turned off and you can't see these stickers at night - then I'm back to square one about telling people how to open the door :DI wonder if anyone has something for sale to tell people how to open the door from the outside, hmmm...

Very helpful for new riders trying to figure out the somewhat counter-intuitive door buttons. Easy to apply.
