GREAT PRODUCT, It Works! My upright vac had developed a horrific odor that I could NOT get rid of no matter what. I had it professionally serviced and it still "stunk" when I used it. I don't know what happened to cause this disgusting smell but it was in my vacuum and it seemed it was there to stay! It's an expensive vac but I thought it was going to have to go to the trash pile because the odor was just so offensive. The odor would linger in the area I vacuumed for quite some time and was unbelievable. I took a chance and ordered this thinking that I don't have anything to lose by trying it. I am amazed this worked so well. I ordered the "Original". This has a very pleasant Spa like fragrance. Lots of positives with this product such as ...it's plant based not a synthetic fragrance. It's cruelty-free, Non-Hazardous and made in the USA. I have 3 small little dogs so this is important to me. Because the odor in my vac was so bad, I used 2 capfuls instead of the recommended 1 cap. The cap is pretty shallow anyway. This product surpassed my expectations. I had been spraying a tissue with a perfume that costs $140.00 and putting it in the vac bag with NO good results. This product works and smells great.

I made a terrible decision a few weeks ago and used my vacuum to clean up some used cat litter that had spilled while I was changing it. My vacuum smelled like straight cat piss every time I turned it on. I was seriously about to toss my very expensive Dyson into the trash. I used these 1 time, I put them in the filter and the canister and it not only removed the odor that was coming from my vacuum, it left the entire house smelling fresh and clean. Vaccuum was giving off nasty odor and purchased this. Works well. There is a medicinal type odor now but seems to dissipate with use.. Regardless - odor is better than it was!.

I keep this on hand. Each time I use one of the vacuums, I put a few of the crystals in the canister and it keeps the vacuum smelling fresh. It doesn't take but a cap full or less and it stays until you empty the canister, then add it again. It's a great value for the money and lasts a long time.

First, it's a Leaping Bunny certified product (cruelty-free). Second, it is fun to use. Per the Seller's recommendation, I added the beads to my vacuum dust collector just after emptying the cup - so they sit in there freshening until next vacuuming time. Third, the scent is universal and matches their laundry odor remover (another excellent product), which is great since I store my vacuum near clothes and so the scent will match throughout my home. This product has a nice fragrance. I changed my vacuum cleaner bag and placed these beads inside but then didn't vacuum for about a week. By the time I did vacuum, I did not notice any fresh fragrance release from the beads. I keep my vacuum bag fairly clean because I don't like to smell dog hair or the yucky odor from vacuum particles that sit too long, but I honestly have not noticed much difference since I started using the fresh wave beads. When I place fresh beads into a new bag and immediately vacuum I can then smell a fresh fragrance that lingers in the room for a few minutes after vacuuming. When I vacuum a few days later for a second time, I don't notice the fragrance. I believe it would be less expensive to simply use a few cotton balls with some drops of essential oil in the vacuum cleaner bag when I change them, But this is a nice item I would consider adding to a gift basket for a friend. (I would also like to add That my experience is more positive with the fresh wave room freshener gels. They actually work nicely in my Laundry room and bathrooms.)
