First Order But So Far These Are The BEST Dates I’ve EVER Had!!!!
Now, these are the best dates I’ve ever had yes BUT please remember that at the time of this review it is the peak season for dates. Their freshness & flavor is better in the months of September through November & can continue through early January. I’m hoping that their quality control is always this stellar because when I first began consuming Medjool dates on a daily bases I was ordering from Nuts.com & they started out great but then the quality control became terrible. They’d arrive slimy which you could even see through the bags without opening them. They’d of course be mushy. I was super disappointed with each order at the end but I stuck with them because they’d always reimburse & they always will when you show them proof of the poor quality control. After a while I just started ordering other dried fruits & gave up on my Medjool dates entirely. It wasn’t until about a week ago that I thought I’m gonna start making these protein bars from a recipe I discovered & sure enough it calls for dates. In my mind I thought it doesn’t matter if they’re mushy or even slimy through this approach. Next thing I know I’m on the Nuts.com website & I'm searching for my Medjool dates. I gasped once I discovered that theirs actually contain sulphites! How did I miss this all those times orders were placed!? So to say that I was DONE with that company would be an understatement. That’s when I turned to Amazon for help finding a replacement brand. These by YUpik are free from sulphites & I thought for sure they’d be more expensive but they’re actually just a $1 or $2 less than what I was paying before so I was thrilled about that. Thank you to YUpik for providing us with healthy choices at affordable prices. It’s truly appreciated!

Try this incredible dessert!
Delicious!! As other reviewers mentioned, these dates are very large, soft, and chewy. Which makes them perfect for a recipe I recently stumbled across that I just had to try. I can’t remember where I saw the recipe or what it’s even called. But I will call these Chocolate Date Bombs. Scoop a couple of spoonfuls of ghee into a bowl (I didn’t measure how much, just estimate) and one full scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder. Cream together with a spoon until well incorporated. These dates are already pitted, so find the slit on the side of the date where the pit was removed, and carefully pry open like a locket. You will have two open halves with a “hinge” on the back. Scoop some of the chocolate ghee mixture into each half and press both sides back together. And that’s it! Super fast and easy, and DELICIOUS!!! If you’ve ever had a Butterscotch Square from See’s Candies, this tastes almost EXACTLY like that! (I should know, because it’s one of my all time favorites). The Butterscotch Square is basically a brown sugar and butter mixture covered in chocolate. With this alternative, the dates are very similar to brown sugar, you have the nutty, buttery creaminess of the ghee, and the chocolate from your protein powder, so all the flavors meld together perfectly. But HEALTHY!! You get all the benefits of the dates, plus protein and a healthy fat. I will now keep a bag of these made in my refrigerator at all times, as it will be my new guilt free dessert. And since they are shelf stable I will also bring these when I travel. Super easy to pack in my carry-on and then I won’t be tempted to eat the unhealthy desserts that I always want to grab when I’m traveling. I hope you enjoy!

Delicious. An excellent value.
A big bag filled with delicious dates. As no one has yet cultivated seedless dates, these are about as good as it gets.

Love love this product. Thank you
If there was a 6th star on this page I would of gave you a perfect 10...just saying. Best dates. So good. just ordered my 3rd bag. I tried to go to the grocery store, save a few dollars and got a small bag of dates. Nope. Not Yupik Organic Deglet Nour Pitted Dates, not the same, not as good. I never remember eating a date before unless mom added it to a recipe. I heard on a podcast dates are good for you. So I took a chance and ordered this product. It was a divine moment and I am a true fan. Price is real fair too. Next year I have some family going to get these for Christmas along with the beef jerky. Christmas presents are real special in my family since Im a grandma of 10 grandkids and a great grandchild on the way...Yupik are part of the family now. Thank you. Dont change your product, its wonderful.

Can't Recommend-- Very Short Shelf Life
I received these dates in late January 22 and enjoyed some as snacks over a 2-week period. Unfortunately, by mid-February the bag had puffed up and when I opened it the dates had become dark (moldy?) & slimy and had a sour, "fermented" smell. The bag was stamped with a Best By date of June 1, 2027. One shouldn't be expected to eat 35.3 oz (2.2 lbs) of dates in less than a month. There were no advisements on the bag to keep the dates refrigerated. I'm guessing the dates had been exposed to heat during storage or were not fresh when packed. Whatever the reason, this purchase was a waste of money. I just ordered Terrasoul Organic Medjool Dates as a replacement. I've bought that brand before but wanted to give Yupik a try. My mistake. 1 Star for the price and that's being generous.
