I had this to try the tea pot is a little fragile the same for any glass piece the handle hasn't cracked or fallen of the top of the tea pot does need holding on like any tea pot when you empty it of tea I have put it on the gas but as it's only a two cup pot I put a small metal disc under the tea pot so far it's still in one piece so it's value for money size is good for a two cup pot you do have to be careful when cleaning for the spout a little bottle brush would come in handy the taste of the tea is beautiful

I bought this teapot because i wanted a 1.2l teapot to replace my Trandglass Jena Miko which unfortunately met its end recently, the one i bought ended up being from china & I'm not sure how the measure volume but it would barely hold 1l so i returned it. After a lot of humming & haaing i stumbled across this one and decided it looked a little tall & quirky with its vertical pour face but it would be a nice replacement & certainly hold as much tea as i wanted! I am thrilled with the product, it arrived very quickly even with brexit & the customs issues it has caused & the design is even better than i thought. It has a very smooth, easy, laminar flow out the spout which make pouring a dream. The teapot itself is super lightweight and even full of tea is easy to carry, easier than my old teapot. The tall design means it holds a lot of tea without taking up a lot of space on my desk & the metal coupler between the teapot & the filter has little prongs that hold the lid on tight enough it doesn't slip around when you pour which was a massive issue & ultimately how my old teapot broke! I could not be happier with this purchase & hope it lasts me many years!

I would describe it as simple and beautifully delicate. The spout pours very smoothly and easily but this is the result of it being too long and thin for loose leaf tea so it does get clogged with it. It is, however, still usable for loose leaf tea, if one has the patience. That said, it was never really designed for loose leaf tea, it was designed for flowering tea pearls. Hence, I intend to test it out with some.

It feels a little thicker than my last one. The spout does dribble a little when tea is poured from a nearly full to brim pot, but not for long, as I think it's just an angle issue. I'm very happy with my tea pot. I also use a tea leaf ball in mine which sits nicely in the pot and the lid fits too. Win win.
