I loved how big and sturdy it is. It was great gift to give to my niece who wanted a diary. Great for first time users and many cute little prompts and pages to fill! Not skinny or skimpy that’s for sure. Will fit in any bag.

Adorable! Purchased for my niece's (age 7) upcoming birthday. I remember have similar journals/diaries when I was younger that came with little locks and keys and loved them. Size is what I expected but beware that it is NOT like a full sized notebook. (See picture) it's petite for sure but exactly what I was looking for. I am giving it 5 stars based on the exterior apperance but I haven't opened due to being a gift. I will update my review as she uses it regarding durability. Would be cool if they could include a tassel or keychain for the keys. Already concerned about the keys getting lost...overall just what I was needing.

I like that this diary features a girl of color. My daughter is bi-racial. Good quality, lined pages. Daughter loved lock and key. I gave it four stars because the cover makes it seem as though it is more of a guided diary - that there will be places for girls to write about their lives. On the inside cover there are places for one-word answers to things like "best friend" and "favorite color" type stuff. Beyond that, the diary is completely blank. Daughter still really enjoys it. She's 6, almost 7. It is a small diary, but the lines are more like wide-ruled, so even at her age, she was able to write in it easily.

I bought this for my 5 year old. She loves writing in it and the fact that it has a lock. It's sturdy and of good quality. There is also a lot of pages to do whatever with. There's also 2 keys, so I made sure to keep one with me (for when she lost hers) and put the other on a string that she can hang where she wants.

Bought as a gift for my niece and it’s exactly as designed. A little small for my liking but I’m also not a ten year old girl wanting a diary. Looks great and a good gift to give anyone young person who may need an outlet to express themselves!

I was a bit dissapointed in this diary. I didn't expect a lot for $10.00 NUT THEN WHEN TOU PAY $5.00 TO SHIP IT THE VALUUE DROPS. LOCK N kEY IS ALUMIUN. and the diary is small. If they would get the shipping down it would help but I see better than this locally. I just had not looked well and time was closing in. For a better review my grandaughtewr already has entries from day 1. But she's a bit bombed about the lock I am going to get a better one and have hubby put it on. Yeas it will be more $ but she already has so many pages with her special notes. She lives with 3 older brothers and a dad and is 10 Years old

I bought this for a young girl in the fifth grade and she loved it. I thought it was much nicer than I expected. There are prompts inside that encourage a young person to write. I really loved this book!

Perfect for children!! I just we I hope that would be inside, I bought for a 10 years old girl and she just love it!

This little journal is perfect for the six to ten-year-old child. Lock seems to work just fine. Six year old able to lock and unlock. We are pleased with this purchase but have only had it for a day or two.
