This product makes my hair so soft. And it has a mild smell. I love it

I am a big fan of natural hair care and even though this item is not 100% natural it works for my hair. I don't apply this product no where near my scalp!!! I usually put my hair in a pony tail and use this product, a leave in conditioner and my oil to seal in the moisture for the shaft of my hair only. This product works great for my baggy methods..after I put my hair in a ponytail I spray only the shaft(just the ponytail itself) of my hair with this spray, I then oil my ponytail and I tie a small plastic bag or processing cap over the shaft of my hair the baggy method and the Care free Curl moisturizes my hair all day. My hair has grown to mid back length doing this protective style(the baggy method) with the Care Free Curl and I would recommend this item...I gave this item a 4 out of 5 because it's not natural but I do like the fact that water is the number one ingredient and glycerine is the third which is not bad.

My daughter is mixed and her hair sucks up moisture like an unending vacuum. I've tried SO many products from every price range, for every race and hair type, natural, manufactured, and otherworldly... My sister, who is natural with beautiful tight spiral curls, even gave me stuff that she uses and she was amazed at how it would keep her curls hydrated all day, but within a few hours my daughter's hair was 4 times its originally styled size and growing while drying out. I gave up and said, "I'm ordering activator. She's gonna be like Cookiehead Jenkins because I can't with her hair." Then I came across this and I remember my dad using it with his Jheri curl and thought I'd start here.So listen... This IMMEDIATELY made her hair act right. It went from this sun bleached, dry, crackly, mangled looking curls to brown, silken, hydrated, bouncy tresses. The next day after sleeping without her bonnet, her hair still wasn't dry and brittle. I added a little more, pulled it in a ponytail and BAM! Gorgeous, ***contained*** curls. It's flipping amazing! I might have to order 6 more just so I'm not gonna run out any time soon. Her hair requires a fair amount of product (again, it's a sponge of the highest caliber), but my hair only needs a quarter sized amount and it's good to go for days.

My children LOVE this product and I have purchased for them for many years. For me, it doesn't work on my hair. However, I will not buy from here anymore until they go down on their pricing. This 32 oz product used to be $10.49 per bottle. Now it's overpriced, and I am refusing to pay this rip off price. After looking around, I recently found a store that sells this product for $13.99; much cheaper, and I have taken my business to them. There are places online that sell for $9.99 per bottle, but due to not being familiar with them, I decided to settle with going to the store and paying a little extra. I've given it a lower rating due to price and it's effectiveness on my hair.
