Perfect size and weight!
Kitchenaid is the best! I have a 7 quart very heavy mixer that I could no longer lift and that I also did not have room to leave on my kitchen counter. This one is smaller, lighter weight, and does not take up much counter space. I had to get used to mixing and adding ingredients a little more slowly since the mixing bowl is not as deep as the bigger mixers. The mixer runs very quietly but still gives me enough power to mix up my usual muffins, cakes, and bread recipes. The attachments are smaller to accommodate the smaller bowl. The only downside for some may be that the mixing bowl may not have enough room to mix up a double recipe if that is something you do frequently. Overall, I am very happy with the size and performance of this mixer!

This kitchen aid mixer is the right size
I love my kitchen aid artisan mini mixer 3.5 quart and it is just the right size for my apartment and I just got it a few days ago and used it twice so far and both times the food turned out perfectly it is definitely worth the price and I happened to be using the right credit card to get it on a 12 month payment plan which makes it easier to pay for this is my first kitchen aid mixer in my life and I can't believe that I never had one before also bought 3 other items that are made for this one and used them all already hope that this kitchen aid mixer lasts me the rest of my life

LOVIN’ my mini
This mini is a replacement for my 25 yr old full size mixer. I have found the same good quality in the mini as in my old mixer. I love the fact it’s so much lighter and can now easily store it on a pantry shelf and not bust a gut carrying it there. Same distinctive appearance. Handles all my mixing needs and even dud well with brioche dough. A good value for the money.

Great mixer, bad dough hook
I have owned this mixer for 18 months. I did not like the painted dough hook, and after a year it chipped. Once it was chipped, I did not trust it because it may shed more chips into my food. So, I purchased a stainless steel dough hook (search for: KSM3311) and threw out the dough hook that KitchenAid provided. The mixer has been great for our small household, and even though KitchenAid provided a cheap dough hook, I still give it 5 stars. To KitchenAid: Can't you provide a good, stainless steel dough hook?

I lke this smaller version.
Smaller than the regular sized version, it’s fine for my needs. If you like to make big batches, consider the larger version.

Wife Loved It!!
I got this for my Wife as a Christmas Gift, and has been used for Many Purposes, all without fail.I do wish the Locking Mechanism on the Head was more tactile, and left a more definitive impression of it being locked into place.Besides that it's powerful, has a great colorway, and my Wife Loves It!!

Very nice - works great
I've been wanting a new stand mixer for years. I'm in my 60s and the only stand mixer I've ever had was my mother's hand me down Sunbeam. It still works but it labors to mix thicker things like cookie dough. I haven't bought one because I didn't want a 22 lb mixer that had to have a permanent home on my kitchen counter. I pondered a Bosch for a few years but the model changed and now it gets poor reviews. Then I discovered this mini-KitchenAid during Amazon prime days - $130 price reduction and only 12 lbs. I thought it might be too small but based on the reviews I decided it would probably work for me. I've used it a couple times now and it's great. I don't bake yeast bread and most of my recipes call for 2-3 cups of flour and it handles that amount just fine. When I made banana bread it did slosh the banana mixture over the edge when I turned it on high but I didn't need to turn it up that high - was just checking it out - and it was fine at a lower speed. It's taken a little getting used to - no more big wide bowl that spins IYKWIM.
