Great blender
This blender is great - really nicely made and does the job well. It has set programs for different things and I have found the smoothie setting to successfully blast all the ice and make a nice frothy and light mix. It’s easy to clean although you do need to take the jug fittings off fairly regularly to clean in the nooks and crannies. The jug is heavy but well made. If you can get this at a good price I think it’s as good as a blender can be or needs to be - with magimix warranty and free cups sent in the post. It’s also possible to get spare parts for it for absolutely everything so if a part does go missing or break it can be fixed easily.

Love my blender and delighted with the free cups too
I deliberated for a long time over blenders. I loved some of the more pricey fabulous looking ones and wondered if I ought to be getting a much more expensive one for performance as well as looks. I really wanted one that could handle spices, nuts, large and small quantities, hot and cold- I wanted it to do everything and be strong and long lasting as well. In the end, I opted for this because it was a good in between choice I thought. The red is nice, the look is less stylish than some of the ones I was intested in like the Kitchenaid, and less desirable maybe than the £700- £1000+ Vitamixes, but it has attachments which I wanted and others often do not, and it was a mere fraction of the price. It has a motor guaranteed for 30 years. It fits under my counter top. It does everything I wanted. I got a very good price on Amazon, and applied for the two free blender cups which are a great bonus. I googled the mill and got a fantastic price on that too. So I got it all for under £200 which is a bargain for a durable impressive machine like this, with extras. I've loved using it, it's extremely versatile. Thick liquids can be an issue but the paddle thing sorts that out easily.

😊😊
After doing extensive research, I took the plunge and forked out £179 on this Magimix Power Blender in red. (I wasn't prepared to pay an extra £20 for the brushed steel version.) This blender gets good reviews in most review sites, good user reviews, and the huge plus... a motor guaranteed for 30 YEARS! At my age, I'll have to leave this beast in my will!Firstly, it looks great. Absolutely lovely.Secondly:the glass jug. It's thick, crystal clear, glass, and weighs the same as an average cat. Try lifting a cat in one hand (if it let's you). Heavy. Unlike a cat, the jug won't struggle, so at least you don't have that to contend with.Thirdly: the lid. It's like trying to get said cat to take a tablet. It's a force fit. Happily, if you just wet the seal a tiny bit, it makes fitting the lid easier.Fourthly: it still looks good.Fifthly: really, really easy to use. There's a little recipe book to follow so you can experiment with all the functions. However said recipe book does try to entice you to use the Magimix mill and Magimix citrus ress. Frankly, the cost of said extras doesn't (in my opinion) warrant purchasing them.Cleaning: easy peasy. It has an auto clean function.Noise levels: quieter than most (it has a quietness award, I believe?). Still like a micro jet engine taxing for take off, and then accelerating. (better than a little jet engine, to be honest, which most blenders sound like.)All in all, very pleased with this blender.

Great quality
I’m very happy with the performance and quality of this product. It’s my second magimix kitchen appliance and they surely do not disappoint. This is a really sturdy and beautiful machine that works like a Swiss watch. Love it

Really well made
Great build quality, lots of power, simple use and simple clean. Blends my gazpacho leaving no trace of seeds or skin. Best blender I've ever had -blends similar to a Thermomix but costs 1/10th.

Some poor design mars the quality.
I like the solidity of the jug but it is very heavy even when empty. I think the jug is larger than necessary even for a family of four. This makes handling it difficult at every point of use and cleaning. Getting the base with the cutters off the first time was a nightmare, difficult even with the spatula as a spanner. After a lot of effort, I put the jug on its side on a cloth and pressed down on one side of the spanner/spatula. This worked, but from now on it will have a drop of vege oil each time I put the unit together. The actual functioning of the liquidiser is good, though not excellent. I still had small bits not liquidised.I wish I had chosen the Dualit one, which I think is better designed as well as cheaper.

Excellent Magimix Liquidiser
The only slightly negative thing about this wonderful machine is it's weight. Heavy glass jug and heavy motor. Does a great job of liquidising large amounts and extra parts can be bought to make it even more flexible. Didn't think I would be making ice cream in it too!Very pleased!
