This is better than the original supplied with the TV, no annoying bird.It does require a manual setup for the HOME/MENU key in order to get it to function (this is available on the ONE FOR ALL web site).Hold down RED and BLUE buttons until LED blinks twice,Now hold down the HOME button, after about 3 secs the home menu on TV will pop up release the HOME button and from now on the home key will bring up the home menu. Only had this TV for three months but not a great lover of the magic remote so I ordered the replacement remote. All buttons are working there was only one It had to learn and that is the webos but instructions tell you what to do. Every thing working and I find it lighter and quicker especially with the info button and the TV guide and just push exit to get rid of it, magic remote you have to click the X otherwise it stays on. All in all this is a good remote, good price and works straight away when batteries inserted.

Note that there is no Smart TV button on this remote control. The product description, nowhere, mentions that there is no such button. And when we tried to use the Learning function to program it so one key becomes “smart tv” button, it didn't work. Plus, it took time to search on the internet how to do all this as the package comes only with the remote control and no manual.I had already had problems with ordering this product the first time where they sent me the wrong product so now I have to do two returns, very annoying!

Advertised as fully compatible with my model of LG TV, but was not. Basic functions OK, but the smart TV button (Netcast) did not work. Attempts to reprogram failed, instructions were too difficult to follow (note also very small font in instruction booklet). Wasted a lot of time on this, then had to give up.Design: Nice layout, better than the LG original, good feel, but lacks Netflix and Amazon buttons. However, there is a lack of black/white contrast when you look at the control, so may not suit those with poorer eyesight.

Love this remote, was worried it wouldn't make the grade but its every bit as good as the original LG remote if not better.Not 100% the same layout of the LG but not far off and you soon get use to it.Was about £13.99 elsewhere but wanted next day Delivery using Prime so paid a little extra to get it faster.Inserted Battries and worked right out the box, so to speak.Battries Not Included.Highly Recommend.
