Along with Alpine’s new intelligent amplifier platform, it features an improved heat sink and protection circuit design that eliminates thermal shut-down, for dependable music playback. Performance specs include a 105dB Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratio at rated power and a damping factor of >1800 on the mono amplifier, and just 46-degrees of phase shift. The S-Series amps still boast attractive prices and are designed to perform perfectly with the existing S-Series speakers and subwoofers. Mono subwoofer amplifier 400 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms 600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms CTA-2006 compliant variable low-pass filter (50-400 Hz, 24 dB/octave) variable bass boost (0-12 dB at 50 Hz) Review: Powerful Amp at a great price and a name brand you can trust! - Used this with 2 JL audio stealthbox with 2 10 inch subs in my 2012 Suburban and it does the job very well. More then enough power for what I need and makes my subs sound great! I mounted this behind the driver seat under the captain chair of the middle row and it fits perfectly. Wiring everything is what took the longest but I got the entire job done in a weekend. You can't go wrong with Alpine products and especially at the price I got it for. It does get a little warm but that's probably due to where it's mounted. I may find a fan to help with the heat and put it on a thermostat in the near future. Review: Excellent amp! I ended up not needing mine but they are excellent. - STRONG and compact.

Limited bass Adjustments.
Works really decent for my Alpine RS-SB12 sealed subwoofer. However it looks cheap and feels cheap. The Alpine S-A60M was recommended for my sub. But unfortunately I went with a different amp for my sealed Alpine. But this S-A60M worked better for my Kicker Comp R12” ported subwoofer.

Budget friendly
Nice clean little amp. Puts out more than what it’s rated. Good match for the R series 12in woofer I just got. Haven’t had any problems with it getting hot. Hopefully I don’t have any issues with it because Alpine’s customer service is very poor but there products are pretty solid.

Great little amplifier
This little amplifier performs very well. I have 2 - 4 ohm 300 Watt RMS JL subwoofers hooked up in parallel and it has more than enough power. Definitely recommend it. Ive been beating on it for a bit over a year and it doesn’t quit.

Great for 12” subwoofers
It was a gift but I have one just like it in my Jeep Wrangler. It runs 1 12” Skar sub and it has no problem. Installed this one in a Toyota Camry.

Badass Amp!
This Amp absolutely POUNDS! I have it hooked up to a single JL-10W6-V3 Sub in a high-end sealed box - and it is amazing! The single 10" Sub from JL can handle up to 1000watts Peak and needs AT LEAST 500watts RMS. The Birth-Certificate on my Amp from Alpine read 647watts RMS - which is independently tested, and exceeds the claimed rating of 600watts RMS. Its always better to overpower a sub, than underpower it. I have both the Gain and the Bass boost at half or less, and it POUNDS THE SH*T OUT OF MY SUB! The amp is worth the money and Alpine almost always delivers!
