this product stinks
In 66 years never had instructions that told me to put the positive side of the battery on the spring side of the battery holder. This remote does and does not work that way. Reversed instructions and still does not work. Where is Radio Shack when you need it? Too much trouble to ask for refund or replacement. I will buy it somewhere else.

DON'T BUY, IT DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISED
The item says it is compatible with the digital stream digital tv converter and that all you have to do is put batteries in and that's it. NOT TRUE! The shipping cost more than the actual item, which I wouldn't have minded had it actually worked. I threw some bucks out the window with this item, fortunately it was just a few bucks. Don't make the same mistake. It's total crap.
