This thing works great, 8 am very pleased with my purchase. The laser guided beam is a big plus and convenience, especially for those who have trouble keeping a straight line/cut!

Good tested on 1/2 inch wood.
Good machine like to be used at the bank teller. kind messy with wood on the path but that all so far.

Dancing the Jig!
Works well....just make sure you sink the blade in all the way. Saved a lot of money on this jigsaw.

A couple small quirks
Good inexpensive jig saw. Nice upgrade to current style blade holders. Does well on straight cuts. Curving cuts really require up graded blades. The ones that come included are good for quick jobs. I see many reviews say the blades don’t stay locked in. It too noticed this at first but after some experience you will see how they properly inset. After that no issues. I did have to make one modification to the handle that keeps the base at 90 degrees. It does tend to walk itself from the locking position due to vibration. I disassembled and added some star lock washers to aid in grip force. I finally attached a metal clip lock to the case to hold it firmly in place. For the price it’s worth the small aggravation to check it’s locked. This is a powerful saw that has cut thicker plywood and 1x2 boards. I’m happy with it.

Really love it.
My husband uses a cordless one. Battery always has to be recharged. I ordered this corded one and use it in the tool shed when working on fixing things. He still uses the cordless one when outdoors and cant find an extension cord. But I find him using my new one more and more ... so he must like it. Would buy again if we needed .
