Very nice case, fit my A50 perfectly. It's better than my Otter Box, that I had to replace with this case. I like this one because of the built-in screen protector and this case seems to seal and protect better so far , time will tell though. It was almost half the price of the Otter Box. For about $20, I feel it was a good buy. 👍

I love Unicorn Beetle cases from Supcase. I had one on my Google Nexus 6, and the phone is still fully functional over four years after I bought it. I credit these cases with it's survival. I don't drop my phones very often, but when I do, I don't like to worry that I'm gonna be out hundreds of dollars on a new one. These cases are sturdy and thick enough they give me that luxury.After my experience with the undying Nexus 6, I decided to only buy phones that I could get a Unicorn Beetle case for. That lead me to the A50. It's also still in great shape for having been protected by this case.I will admit, these cases aren't exactly pretty, but a good cell phone is an investment. You want that investment to pay off for at least a few years, and that will only happen if you properly protect it. These cases give (I hate this expression, but in this case it's appropriate) peace of mine.There are issues, however. The built in screen protector is nice and easy to clean, but can negatively effect the fingerprint reader. However, the fingerprint reader in the A50 is notoriously finnicky, so I can't dock it a star for that. The screen protector also tends to get moisture underneath it, which necessitates cleaning because it can leave a little grime under the protector. However, it's easy enough to clean up. Pop the case off and wipe the screen and the protector, inside and out, with a damp microfiber cloth. Not rocket science. You'll also want to wipe down the phone and the interior of the case here and there, as it can accrue dirt over time that can damage the finish on the phone. That's true of any case, however.I highly recommend these cases to anyone looking for a case that isn't sexy, but that will protect what's inside it. Even a more budget-friendly option like the A50 looks better with an intact screen, and I've never had a broken screen in a phone protected by one of these cases.

I had no real issues putting it on or removing it. While it does take some effort, it shows that it is securely attached. I have no issues with fingerprint reading. The only negative would be getting the stand out for use. THAT is contrary! I really don't even bother with it now but I am sure that it would become easier after some usage. I have put it through it's paces on a few occasions and takes the hit. I do believe that the phone has fallen flat on concrete once and all is good still. Even after the other drops on concrete.The color is good and the plastic is not overly smooth/slippery. The rubber is more slippery than I would like but it IS durable. That seems to be the tradeoff with rubber...Overall: Recommend

As an individual who relies on his cell phone for his business a case is essential to keep it protected. I normally wait a year to a year and a half before any reviews for them to be realistic and this case is about a year and four months old. First to know is that I do not abuse the phone nor it is exposed to rough environments. The couple of "falls" it has taken the case has done a wonderful job of protection. It also protects from scratches, pocket travel, backpack travel, and a curious cat. However liquids should be avoided as it can make its way in. Water is a no brainer and nowhere does it state waterproof, but a little splash of hand sanitizer from a defective pump almost spelled doom if you get my meaning. Had it been the only issue it would not have merited docking a star or two, but the added kickstand issue merits it. To some a kickstand is useless, or an add on, some may even say to get a sticky ring, however it is an integral part of the unit, and as such you pay for it. From day one I could tell it was the weakest link, and as such treated it with care. I do rely on the phone to be in upright position when texting many clients using USB keyboard, and sometimes there is no stand or convenient book to prop it up so the kickstand is called into action. Sadly it simply broke off, no strong pull, no fall, it simply fell off, the paper thin plastic joint that held it to the metal stud broken clean. Still, had it been the only case of that I own I may have had doubts that perhaps something whacked it, but I purchased two, the other for the wife's phone, and she never uses the kickstand (she is the one that finds it as an unnecessary add on), and it fell off the same way.In summary:Practice phone safety around water.Kickstand is weak and flimsy and will break.Protection is alright for daily non abusive use.Be realistic in expectations here, for the price don't expect or demand an Otterbox (which in all honesty does not merit the exorbitant price difference unless you are going to the field). This little case is decent, and does it job as protector of your investment.Three stars for its protection quality, two for flimsy kickstand.
