Nice light. I like the Dimmable and Amber/White capabilities. The alligator clip wires seem very cheap. I recommend tying a knot in the wires of the alligator clips to prevent them from separating under useage. I do like the clips and velcro strips for hanging options.

Bought this to use in my FJ Cruiser when I'm overlanding. I like everything about this light but the control switch. It operates on touch and it is way too sensitive. You can trigger it easily by bumping it. You can even trigger it if you turn it upside down and it brushes against another object. I can't decide if I'm going to return it because of this, or if I'm going to fabricate some sort of housing that can slip over the switch. I can easily imagine a scenario where I'm just falling asleep inside my FJ, and then I move or roll over and bump the cord, which in turn bumps the control unit against something and suddenly the light strip is BLASTING bright light throughout the whole cab, and I'm cursing and fumbling around, searching for that stupid, sensitive switch.

Very useful for a variety of uses. Would buy again or longer version.

The ALL-TOP Dimmable LED Camping Light Flexible Strip puts out plenty of light for its size, and the dimming feature is really nice for RV camping and overland setups. At 1300 lumens, it’s bright enough to light up a whole area, and the flexible strip with mounting jacket makes it easy to install in different configurations. When it works, it works well. Unfortunately, durability is an issue. The first one failed after only a few uses—basically from just existing—which was disappointing, especially for something marketed as rugged and outdoor-ready. That said, it’s inexpensive enough that I ended up buying another one rather than walking away entirely. Overall, it’s a decent budget lighting option with good brightness and features, but reliability is hit or miss. Fine if you need something cheap and bright, but don’t expect it to last forever.

Used in a flipper ice house. Works great for a fraction of the cost.

The control switch is very sensitive apart from Light being totally white instead of Amber!

Illuminates my entire awning!
