This part fit and worked perfectly. Some of the other reviewers we're dissatisfied because it came with a clip versus the pictures bolt/nut. I would say the clip is actually better than the bolt as it is much easier to install and especially remove. If the auger jams in the wrong position, getting access to the head of the bolt may be difficult. The clip is NOT flimsy as it is made of steel but there is a little more slop in the connection as the clip is thinner than the bolt. But, I did not use either. When my auger froze up due to swelled and died pellets, the pot metal gears in the gear reduction box of the motor destroyed themselves. You are not going to shear the clip pin nor the bolt when the auger jams - you are going to destroy the gears again. In proper operation, even when the auger is full of pellets, it takes very little torque to turn the auger as you can easily turn it with the tips of your fingers. To avoid destroying the gears again, I am currently using a piece of plastic weed Wacker line as the shear pin- not the steel clip nor bolt. The plastic is currently plenty strong enough to turn the auger without shearing. I don't believe the heat on the other end of the auger will conduct down the auger and melt the plastic line but time will tell. If the plastic fails I will switch to a piece of aluminum wire or a brass screw and never go with the steel as I want the pin to shear before destroying the gears as it costs nothing to replace. I would definitely buy this motor again but hopefully will not have to by getting the proper shear pin material.

Fit perfect, I had my smoker torn apart already waiting for the new motor to arrive which took less than 24hrs. It took less than 3 minutes to install it, and give it power, and as someone else mentioned the clip instead of the nut and bolt that attach the motor to the auger shaft is far superior, easier, and just plain a better idea. Id chose this manufacturer again in a heartbeat.

I was able to put this on my Pit Boss 700 classic in about 20 minutes which replaced that dead induction fan. It's tested and working good for now. We'll see about the longevity of it.
