Overall this is a very nice mount, sturdy and user friendly. If it seems to fit your needs I recommend it.I bought this for my Samsung UN40KU6300 40-Inch 4K TV. It fits, but only just barely. The mount is as low as it can be on the back of the tv, but the vertical supports stick above the top of the tv ever so slightly, like less than 1/4 inch. If you have the power tools to trim the metal (it's super thick) then you could fix this if you cared. Other than that the mount is entirely hidden behind my small tv. The mount comes with a lot of mounting screws and such, but it still didn't have what I needed. To attach it to the back of my tv required screws that were almost exactly halfway between the lengths of the two screw lengths it comes with. Got them at the hardware store no problem. Even then it still needed a couple of washers on each screw so it didn't screw in too far. The wall mount part is designed to be mounted to studs in your wall. The manufacturer does not condone just mounting it to the sheetrock. The problem is that I needed to mount mine directly centered on a stud, and it doesn't have the mounting holes for that. It does have a lot of mounting holes, so I put 16 of the beefiest sheetrock mounts I could find on it. It feels plenty sturdy for my small tv. If you do a sheetrock only mount for a bigger tv then do so at your own risk. This mount causes your tv to stand away from the wall more than you might like. I have big hands and forearms and I can mostly fit my hand behind the tv when it is mounted to the wall. Check the back of your tv; is the area where the VESA mounts close to the same thickness as the thickest part of the tv? Then I'd recommend a lower profile mount. If the area for the VESA mount on the back of your tv is much thinner than some other part of the tv, then this mount should be fine. It has two knobs, one on each side, for locking the tv in place when you've found a tilt angle you like. These knobs are a bit difficult, but not impossible, to reach when the tv is mounted. I found a tension level in the screws that holds the tv in place but allows me to tilt the tv if I push on it hard enough. Not ideal, but workable.

It works really well and was easy to install. Definitely worth the price.

Simply awesome! Ok....received the mount yesterday and immediately opened the box and read the instructions. Not much to it: Find the correct size bolt needed for your Television and mount the brackets to the back of the Television. It comes with a whole slew of mounting bolt sizes in individually sealed plastic pouches which are labeled so choosing what you need is easy. The mount comes with what seems to be all you will need to mount just about any unit you can find as long as it is rated for wall mounting. I mounted a 2008 "flatscreen" 32 inch Sony T.V. which has a bit of weight to it, around 40 pounds which is the main reason I chose this mount. Next thing to do is slide the two rear mount pieces together and connect them with the included bolts. Then find a spot to put it on the wall and drill the holes needed for the mount. I used a Level to ensure the mount was leveled. Heck, the hardest part was installing the four included LARGE wood bolts into the wood. Suggest you get your ratchet out or use a long wrench for the torque needed. Make sure you drill the holes for the wood bolts using a 7/32 inch drill bit three inches deep. Pretty much required if you want the mount to hold it's rated weight. Oh, before heaving that t.v. onto the wall mount I suggest you unscrew the two retaining bolts on the t.v. brackets. You will see what I mean if you get one of these. Reason being you have to unscrew them almost all the way out anyway to engage the bolts into the wall mount to hold it in place so do it BEFORE you lug that t.v. up onto the wall mount. I didn't and had to take it down again to unscrew the retaining bolts. Not a big deal but I should have noticed this first. That's pretty much it. You will be amazed at how sturdy/strong this mount is and how versatile it is. You can hang the t.v. onto the mounting rail and move it left and right as needed and it does tilt from 0 degrees to a down angle of 15 degrees. Since my t.v. is mounted above me a bit the 15 degree down angle is perfect. When you are done putting this all together you will be surprised at all the bolts, washers etc that are left over. Yes, that is how many different size t.v.'s this unit can accommodate. Pretty amazing wall mount. Especially for the price. Couldn't be more satisfied and I highly recommend this! Oh, one more thing....it comes with a high quality HDMI cable. Had no idea and had ordered a cable when I didn't need to. It is probably in the item description but I missed it.

The tv mount was easy to attach to the tv and the wall. It has enough adjustment features (tilt, slides to the sides, adaptive hardware and screws) that make a good looking final installation possible. The tv ends up being about 5-6 inches from the wall and the mounting hardware is barely visible from the side. Excellent hardware quality and installation instructions.
