Worth the buy!
These are great though I wish they would fit my Jinhao 10 but they don't, I use them in my other Jinhao with no problem though.

OK, not bad, not great.
I'm pretty new to fountain pens, but here are my thoughts:The colors are OK, but a bit weak in some cases.I couldn't get a good fit on one of my pens, and I think that caused a lot of skipping. I think it might just be that pen though.I tried most of these inks in Jinhao 599s. So, not great pens, but hey, this is cheap ink.The Orange and Violet-Blue are my favorite of the bunch. The Orange is bold enough. It's an "Irish Flag" color orange, and The green next to it really invokes that ( at least in March). The Green is OK, but I have had such a hard time getting it to flow well. Apple green is a good description of the color. Maybe a bit less "acidic" looking than that. I really think this comes down to my pens, so maybe I'll try it in a pen that I know writes well with a cartridge and reevaluate it.The Violet is really nice. I think it's dark enough to not look too delicate for my taste. I think it's "Kool-Aid Grape" Purple. It's fun to write with. The black and blue are ok. pretty standard, in my opinion. The red is weak looking. It's almost pink. Maybe slightly orange, but definitely not in the salmon range.

Fit in the Amazon Basics Pen
I bought these ink cartridges because they were said to fit in the Amazon Basics fountain pen, which was my first fountain pen. I am still new to inks and pens but I can tell you that these Jinhao ink cartridges do work for that pen pretty well, and are a lot longer than the cartridges that came with the Amazon Basics pen. I use that pen for everyday writing, and I know that I will still be using these cartridges for probably over a year before needing to order more. I will note that they are too long for the Speedball fountain pen I picked up at a local art supply store, but I don't like that pen as much anyway. I am now waiting for a Jinhao pen to arrive and enjoying these cartridges. Pictured is the Amazon Basics ink cartridge (that I use in my Speedball now) compared to one of these Jinhao cartridges with a dollar bill for reference. The other picture also shows the cartridge currently in my Amazon Basics pen that I have used about quite a bit of compared to the dollar bill and another Jinhao cartridge completely full and on its own. I hope to switch to bottled ink when I finish with these to waste less plastic and have more color variety but I will likely use the Jinhao cartridges day-to-day when I return to working in an office and want the added convenience. I like that there is a blue option for the ink.

Fountain pen writing is awesome.
It was a bit difficult to determine the correct refill, as this was my first time ordering. But, product arrived as indicated and is complete.Color is correct, cartridges are small but are easy to change out if you write a lot. Pen writes smoothly. Dry time is fine for me but I don't really have any references for that

Cartridge doesn't fit
Cartridge sent does not fit the Jinhao x450 which says it takes a 2.6mm. Plus it is non refundable. Will not be purchasing from this vendor again. Disappointed.

Love the Jinhao fountain pens and Jinhao ink.
I have the actual Jinhao fountain pens who are the same makers of the ink and I really like their products. The pens are well made and sturdy and not a cheap piece of crap like so many on here for sale. The ink flows very nicely with the pen and dries quickly so there are no worries about smearing or smudges on the parchment or just regular paper. I love the color varieties and calligraphy is a hobby I really enjoy. I still write letters to family all over the world in the same hand our ancestors wrote in 250 plus years ago, as do they. So these are personal and physical keepsakes that computers can't give you. I have letters from over 250 years ago from my ancestors that I keep in acid free binders in my cedar chests. It's honestly very cool to physically touch something that came from your ancestors 250+ years ago that my family and I can pass along to our children and keep it going from generation to generation. So I really depend on a good quality product and own several different styles of the Jinhao fountain pens.

mostly serviceable, and incredibly inexpensive
The blue ink in this set of inks is very good quality, maybe as nice as Waterman Serenity Blue (except Waterman bottled ink comes with the bonus of excellent bottles, almost worth the price of a Waterman bottle of ink even without the ink). A couple others are pretty good as well. Black is pretty serviceable, though I'd take Waterman Intense Black or (especially) Aurora Black instead any day of the week. The green and orange inks, on the other hand, seem anemic on paper, and they rob the fountain pen writing experience of some of its smoothness. They feel "dry" and rough, and can probably just be thrown away without really missing anything. Of the inks in this set, I'd only bother buying the black (which you can get in cartridges without any other colors for dirt cheap as well) to give away to people who need some emergency ink or something like that, or the blue if I could get it without the rest of the colors because the Jinhao blue ink is quite nice and it's dirt cheap for cartridge ink.In practice, I might buy more black to give away, as I mentioned above, but I'm likely to just buy Waterman Serenity Blue for my blue ink, and use Aurora Black (my overall favorite ink so far) in my everyday writer.Given the cheap price for this, the "value for money" should be five stars, but the fact a third of the ink I got is borderline unusable suggests I should remove one star from the value rating for these inks. Because of that, a "quality" rating should be lower than the "value for money", "presentation", and "easy to use" ratings I gave this ink, but Amazon doesn't at this time offer a "quality" rating category. It's reflected in my three-star overall rating.
