Amazing vibrancy!
Wow!! This little tune saved me a fortune! Picture on the left with my face blocked is before, pic on the right is after. I am a natural redhead but getting older (50), my hair has become so dull. Salons never get it right and always cost me at minimum $250 so I thought I’d give this a try. I will say, I had a couple of old highlights that framed my face that this ended up turning extremely orange and sectioning my own hair to make sure I got an even amount everywhere was a slight challenge. But once I blow dried my hair, everything blended really well. My hair is super soft, it has brought back the shine and I love the vibrancy of the color. I still have enough product left in the tube to do probably 2 more times. This is definitely going on my auto ship!

Natural redhead dulling
Did extensive research/looking. Natural redhead that went to strawberry blond as I got older then just washed out looking. Was going to the salon for glazes with a little color to brighten it back up. Do not want to ever do traditional dyes. Did a henna treatment not knowing it was permanent (my bad). Loved the color but now dealing with it growing out. Do not want to be stuck using henna forever and don’t want to dye it. Used this Moroccan oil copper only on the roots and it blended perfectly. My roots about 1 1/2” out are virgin. Washed hair, no conditioner, towel dried, applied, let sit for about 10-15 minutes, rinsed out and conditioner on whole head. Will try to remember to update to let you know how long it lasted. This was very first time. Very orange coming out of tube, but wasn’t orange on hair after rinsing.

Saved my Hair
Let me tell you how this wonderful mask saved my hair and saved me some major embarrassment on a Vegas trip. Note: even good stylists can make mistakes or forget to warn you about potential interactions between treatments.I am naturally a medium/dark brunette but had been getting balayage highlights for years so my hair was almond blonde. I decided to go back to brunette with caramel highlights. My stylist darkened my hair to a medium brunette which was a little lighter than I wanted but it looked fine. The next day I came back for the highlights and keratin treatment and when I left the salon I noticed my hair was even lighter and had a red hue and the highlights looked orange. I knew after the keratin I couldn’t wash for 3 days and couldn’t color for 2 weeks so I thought I would just wait and see what it looked like after I washed my hair, which happened to be the day my husband and I left for a Vegas weekend. After much research I realized that keratin treatments can lift your hair color and mine tends to pull red/orange, oops, I wish my stylist had thought of this and she left a couple days after my treatment for vacation. I ordered this product and a green conditioner to try and temporarily remedy the situation, and after washing on Friday morning my hair had not improved so I tried the green conditioner first to remove the red hue. To my horror, it tinted my hair green. It’s not supposed to do that. I then washed my hair twice with a clarifying sulfate shampoo (not good for keratin but I was desperate) and it didn’t really help. With just a few hours before our flight, I decided to try this product in Coco because I knew it had pigments of yellow, green, and red which would hopefully cover and balance out the green. I sectioned my damp hair and left on for 15 minutes and rinsed. Immediately better but my roots still looked a little orange so I did a shadow root technique, left on for another 15 minute, and rinsed. Omg. My hair looks so much better, smelled nice, and was soft and shiny. My husband, who had seen the green hair and was very skeptical when I told him I could fix it, was shocked when he got home. He loved the color and so did I. It was a tad darker than I expected but still looked very nice and it has been lightening up very slightly with each wash and still looks great. I even had a stranger come up to me in Vegas and compliment my hair color and say she is going back to brunette from blonde and is trying to achieve my exact color. I told her my secret.Anyway, to summarize: this product smells nice, is quick and easy to use, fades nicely, made my hair soft, and gave me a beautiful chocolate brown that my hairdresser couldn’t. Before and after attached.

Ok lemme tell you...
UPDATE: ok, so I’ve been using this for a minute now and I felt the need to update and add another star (note: I never come back once I made up my mind). My hair is naturally red and pretty coppier - it’s lost it’s ompfh because as I get older the vibrancy has faded quite a bit. I’ve been mixing some of this with my conditioner each time I wash my hair (below), and my hair looks almost exactly as it did in my 20s. I’m actually pretty impressed. I’m still not sure how long the color lasts per say, as I was my hair bi-weekly and have been using this with mixed every time I was it. Mixing it has prolonged the life of the product, and I think probably has helped give it a more subtle feel. I haven’t had any bleeding issues, even in rain the color hasn’t melted onto things around me; which is an irrationally fear I always have with hair color. I really want to try some other colors now!My hair has been looking kinda blah and I wanted an easy way to spruce it up a little. I've been asking my sister (she does the hair by trade) about these kinda of color depositing conditioners for a hot minute and she has made less than enthusiastic commentary about it. Then she linked me some IG post about these moroccanoil masks and I'm like, ok I'll take that as a hint to buy one. So, I did.I got the copper color because I'm not allowed to have "fun" colors at work and my hair is naturally a sort of blonde-ish auburn that looks coppery anyway (again, just wanted to spruce it up a little). I applied it pre-washing to dry hair, as I do this occasionally with regular conditioner.Things I noticed:I have super thick, naturally curly hair that falls below my bra line - so it's pretty long. I mixed with a conditioner I usually use because I didn't want to accidentally turn my hair orange and thought this would tone it down. I still had to use probably half the tube of this to cover my hair - and it still probably wasn't complete covered. But whatever.I was NOT expecting to end up looking like an oompa loompa by the end. My hands were covered look orange yellow, anywhere on my body also had streaks on it from where my hair touched (I'd wear a shirt you don't really care if it is ruined - I was pre-shower, ready to go, so I don't know if it washes out of clothing). It did mostly wash off of *ME* in my shower though, maybe a little yellowing around my nails lingered for a few more hand washes. The color is pretty subtle - which is what I personally was going for. The bottom of my hair has more blonde, as it naturally lightens and I had some left over bleaching from a hair color of the past - so it stuck well to these parts and makes my hair look a little darker over all from the effect.I'm unsure how long it'll last. I only wash my hair twice a week, so I'm hoping it'll cling for a minute. 30$ a tube is too much to use this every single time considering how much I needed for my hair.I did not notice any "staining" afterwards (which is one thing my sister forewarned me about a lot of these products).I'm not sure it added any extra moisture to my hair, in that area, it feels about the same it does after any other wash.Overall, I would probably use it again. I don't hate it, but it is a little expensive for as much as I need, depending on how well it holds the color. I couldn't afford to use it every wash. With how subtle the copper turned out, I kind of want to try another color now, thinking if it was subtle enough, I could maybe get away with trying a rose gold color out.
