Great for skiing relief!
I use this metatarsal pad for downhill skiing. The little ring that hooks around my index toe really keeps it in place. I tried adhesive pads and they don't stay in place, especially when putting my socks on. It took a little practice but I can get them in place when putting on my socks and they stay in place all day long. I love them and it's just what I needed to get me through a day of downhill skiing, I highly recommend them. P.S. The little ring that goes around my toe did break after a month or two of skiing, so I always buy two at a time to have another ready to go.

Toe loop painful and slides EVERYWHERE
Not actually useful for wearing on feet. The loop is too thick and hurts my toes. The pad slides underfoot and within half an hour of putting them on the pad slid out from under my foot and was on the side. The pad itself is soft and if it wasn't for the toe loop and the pad sliding all over it might work. But honestly, this is a horrible product that was a complete waste of money. I can't believe it is a Dr Scholls product.

Not a fan
The piece that goes between the toes is too thick and uncomfortable. I tried cutting it off and taping to my foot and it didn't stay put. Too thick and bulky and not comfy at all. It has ridges on it, maybe if it was smooth it would be better instead of feeling like your stepping on bumps all day.

LOVE THESE
These really help with Metatarsal problems. The fact they stay in place all day, you can wear them with ANY shoe and to top it off, you can wash them in the evening and they are ready to use again the next day!

Awkward product
These pads are marked Left and Right and have a loop that go around a toe. One side of the pad is smooth, the other is rippled. The directions do not tell you which toe it goes around, or whether you wear it with the smooth side on your foot or the rippled. If you wear the rippled side, the loop goes around the 2nd toe. I find the ripples cause pain to the ball of the foot and the loop around the toe does the same.If you wear the smooth side, the loop goes around your 3rd toe. This is not as uncomfortable to the ball of the foot but the large piece of silicone wedged between your 2nd, 3rd, 4th toe is pain inducing. Ouch. The addition of the silicone pad added mild relief for metatarsalgia but caused so much more pain in other ways. My podiatrist said the padding needs to be lower in order to offset metatarsal pressure, so this pad is really not appropriate.I do not recommend this product. It's awkward, causes pain.

Great product!
This product works great for me. It gives relief right where I need it and with my socks on it stays in place. This is the second time I have purchased this product and I use it all the time.

Hurts Second Toe
This pad is kept in place by looping the part with the hole over your second toe on each foot. For the 1 day I tried these before returning the item, they hurt both of my second toes. The part of the toe that came in contact with the underside of my foot hurt, and the toe itself hurt all around where the loop came in contact with it. The part intended to buffer the ball of the foot also did not seem large enough for my foot. The product is not expensive so it is not a major investment to try it since it might work for you. But it did not work for me, a man who wears a size 10 shoes.
