As a chef this is the best vegetable peeler I have ever used. The blade is carbon steel, this is the sharpest steel and will become discolored and may seem rusty, Simply wipe and dry when finished and will last years, So ignore the negative reviews.

Chefs best friend
When I say I’ve bought over 30 of these, I’m not lying. If you work in a kitchen you know things like these grow legs. They are a simple design so easy to clean. Sharp and lightweight. They do cut a little deep but that’s just fine by me. They work so well all my cooks keep stealing them.

Overall this unit feels like a cheap kids toy. Though it is well made in its finish and the blade cuts well for a peeler, the build "perceived" quality is low. Will it last? maybe... im not sure, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Overall for $6 its not awful, though the feel in the hand leave a lot to be desired. But, if it works well, as it does, and it's inexpensive, which it is, I dont really have much bad to say. It's functional and we use it in our home bar without issue so far.

It's a peeler. The style of peeler is probably the most ergonomic and efficient style peeler you can buy. Three in a pack. Good deal.
