KEF Lsx P1 Desk Pad (Black, Pair), Large

These are obviously quite expensive for some desktop stands. However, they feel and look high quality. They are solid aluminum (or some other lightweight metal, but probably aluminum) and look great on my desk.

Would be 5 stars if they weren't so damned expensive. Superb quality, though. I was amazed at the improvement in sound and *soundstage* by simply pointing the speakers 10 degrees up and toeing them in a little. Very satisfied with everything except the price.

Not an intuitive set-up. Took a while and not until I downloaded the manual did it really make sense. Paired them with the KEF Kube 8b subwoofer and a wireless KW1 transmitter. Setting up the EQ is work as well. But the sound…. Revisiting a lot of music. Worth the work.

The stand is nice, very solid. I like it. However included fixing screws made from bad material and easy could come in pieces... Be gentle, try to not overtight these. Anyway, replacement screw (1/4"-20, shaft 17mm) can be found in many photo stores around. On the pictures are broken screw and its replacement.

It's critical to get the tweeter in desktop speakers' level with or pointed at your ears. This product is well built but grossly overpriced.

Expensive for what it is, but fits perfectly my LSX speakers and sound quality with the stand is great!

This was just a baseplate for $1000 speakers. I got screwed and couldn't return them in time. Now I either have paper weights or need to spend another 1k.
