Merrell Men's Intercept Trekking Shoes

I work in urban highrise apartment maintenance and these have proven to stand the test of time. Third year in a row I've purchased these and they don't disappoint.

I've never had a hiking shoe or boot not give me blisters as they break in. Now, my trial run with these was 10 days at Disney and Universal, so it was not aggressive terrain. But, we averaged close to 10 miles a day. I packed an extra pair of shoes just in case, but I figured I could break these in on an easy trip like this. I expected to get hot spots and swap my other shoes in every other day. Well, I wore these the entire time. Way more comfortable than my running shoes. They're on the heavier side but they're extremely comfortable. You can barely feel the surface you're walking on. Since I've been back, I've been on one short hike. They're really comfortable. Great arch support and you can barely feel the rocks you're walking on. There is a little slip in the heal, but that's par for the course with a hiking shoe. Again, not so much slip that I developed any blisters in the heal or toe area. My guess is this because there is still enough flex in the shoe, even with a nice thick sole. The toe box is a little cramped, but I have wide feet. Either way it hasn't been an issue. When these wear out, I'll be buying another pair. Might just buy another now in case they stop making them. Really great shoe.

They run small so had to return and they wouldn’t honor sale price so didn’t reorder. I were size 10 in most every shoe but needed 10.5 in these. Too narrow.

This is an older model harder to get and, not available at all in lots of places including Zappos which is my go to. I bought my first pair which are exactly the same as these 5 years ago and was glad to find them. They are a lower profile than most hikers which I like and lower than the Moab. Came from UK in paper bag containing shoe box but not damaged, and came in 11 days which I thought was amazing. In the picture it appears lighter in color.

I have a dozen pair of Merrells, but these are falling apart on me. First week, when slipping them on, the foam in the upper rear area camel bump thing somehow folded itself over within the fabric and I can't get it to unfold.I tried sticking a pin in there and pulling from either side but going in blind I can't get it resolved. To there's a thick chunk of foam there now. Annoying but I'm past the return window, so fml on that. Now the stitching is coming apart! These have never even been out in the wild or hiked in. I have various more worn ones for that which are older and they're still kicking. I mainly wear these to work and they're failing on me. The kicker is these are some of the more expensive pair I've purchased from them. Quality going downhill??

La talla es un número y medio más q la anterior. Siempre use 10,5 y tuve q devolverlo para comprar un 12 que me calzo muy bien. La puntera es más angosta. Y un exceso de tela negra que le quita elegancia al verde elegido. Veremos cómo resulta con la calidad. Un producto anterior se rompió la suela y me entra agua... espero q este no me defraude.Adrian

Der Schuh ist für Merrell typisch sehr hochwertig verarbeitet. Leider sitzt er zu schmal am Spann, sodass ich ihn leider retournieren musste. Sehr Schade, da er mir optisch sehr gefiel. Dies ist komischerweise auch der einzige Schuh von Merrell den ich bisher probiert als zu schmal empfinde. Alle anderen Modelle passen sehr gut.

Bella scarpa, robusta e comoda

Attention ces chaussures taillent vraiment trop petit. Je fais du 41, j'ai commandé du 41.5 pour être tranquille et elles me compressaient les pieds. Ni une, ni deux je les ai retournées sans aucun problème, merci AMAZON de ce côté là. Par contre, là ou je suis moins d'accord, c'est que j'avais acheté ces chaussures dans le cadre du black friday pour leur prix attractif au prix de 81 euros et lorsque j'ai voulu commander la même paire avec une pointure plus grande le prix n'était plus le même. De 81 euros je passais à plus de 100 euros. Du coup niet, je n'en ai pas commandé. C'est certainement enfoui dans les CGV du site (à vérifier), mais je trouve ça un peu limite. Comme quoi la perfection n'est pas de ce monde. Ensuite je déplore les pointures fantaisistes des chaussure MERELL, qui bien qu'excellentes, (je suis adepte depuis des années), je n'ai pas trouvé d'équivalent dans les autres marques en terme de confort et de durabilité ; mais comme tous ces produits, ils sont confectionnés en Asie, Chine le plus souvent, à bas coût avec des conditions salariales pitoyables de leurs employés.les + :très belles chaussures à la ville comme à la montagnesemelle VIBRAM gage de bonne adhérenceconfort (avec la bonne pointure :))les - :pointure aléatoiretarif élevé sauf pendant le black market (CGV à revoir ?)

Calidad de construccion muy buena, habria que checar durabilidad pero parecen ser muy resistentes
