I have a small dog, 7 lbs, and faux leather backseats. She always wants to jump up into the front seat, which makes me anxious and a friend recommended one of these. As a first time dog owner, I will do anything to keep my dog safe. I was pleased to discover how EASY it is to use this. Simply click it into the seat belt end and clip your pup in and boom! Done.It gives my pup enough space to go between the two windows, without going OUT the windows, and keeps her from jumping up into the front seat. The build feels pretty sturdy, like a wider dog leash with elasticity and same for the clip as well. It's not plastic, it's a nice metal clip. The leash doesn't seem to cause her any discomfort, she'll lie down and take a nap when she's done running from window to window. I feel MUCH more comfortable having her clipped/buckled in case of anything happening.DEFINITELY use a harness with this, it could easily choke your poor pup if you only use a collar!!

Very sturdy, and holds my pup in the seat well, but even at it's shortest it seems a little too long. Overall if you want your dog to have a little walk room in the back, its a good seat belt.

These are super easy to hook in and they do the job. It makes me feel better knowing my dogs are hooked in. I will say my one dog (she is an Australian shepherd) she likes to try and hop up to the front seat, she usually pulls the clip out of the seat buckle. But other than that it’s great!

This "dog seat belt" works well. It safely restrains my 60 pound German Shepard in my car while I'm driving. It also satisfies the legal requirement of having the dog restrained in a moving vehicle in my county. I'm completely satisfied with this product. I think it's a good value and have no hesitation to recommend it to others.

This seatbelt works great for my larger lab puppy who is currently over 50 lbs. It went easily into the seatbelt holder in my car and appears secure. It allows my dog to have more movement yet keeps him safe. He does not get caught up in it and he's comfortable on our rides in the backseat.

This is a spectacular value. You get two seatbelts for your dog so you can leave one in each car. Then as a bonus, you get this super handy little collapsible dish that you can leave in the car as an ever handy water dish.The seat belts are well made and give the dog just the right amount of free movement. Buy them.

It does its job. It's adjustable but not too loose. I like that it clip and that it plugs into the seatbelt buckle.That said I wish it was a bit more durable. My dog chewed right through this within 5 minutes.I did buy another to replace it and will just keep a better eye on what's happening in the back seat.
