its Warhammer 40k themed Talisman, so whats not to love?Physical build should be good. Minatures ( player tokens) are good. But my copy had a big wrinkle in the box, the rules folder was not placed in the box correctly so had a diagonal fold where the lid had pushed it over the lower box side, the ruebook's open long side was not open (the page edges were all joined so I had to be cut them apart) and the unfolded board does not sit flat. These are all basic manufacturing faults. Shoddy. I collect board games, so physical damage and faults are bad news.Physical design. The item/event/monster cards are tiny (approx 6cm x 4cm) and the writing on them seems tinier (maybe a 5 or 6 point font?). The board size is ok, but again the writing is tiny and you can't wave a boafd around trying to read it as you can with a card. The character cards and endgame bossmonster cards have tiny writing too. its like reading 'the small print' on a contract. i played a quick test game and had to use a hand magnifying glass to read it all. I play the board games I collect, so muultiplayer games where players without 20/20 vision probably need magnifying glasses is a serious pain.Gameplay. Its talisman, nuff said.As a game, this should be an instant classic - I want to love it, but this edition is probably not for me.I'm going to think on it for a day or so - but probably a return as Talisman is a long game and, for me, this game is probably physically unplayable.

Amazing price, brand new condition. Really wish the expansions where available but that's beside the point. Really happy with this transaction. Thanks!

If you like Talisman - this is the best implementation of the system so far. Many added gameplay mechanics.If you like Warhammer 40,000 this is a great game where you can dive into 40k lore references all over the place going around exploring and meeting iconic enemies and allies.If you like Talisman AND 40k this game is a must have.

This game is a reimagining of the board game Talisman set in the Warhammer universe. I think I prefer this version of the game better although the quality control on the cards left a little to be desired.

Recently was introduced to this game by a friend and had a great time! It was fairly easy for me to jump right in and learn the rules. I'd definitely recommend if you like tabletop games.

This game is an upgrade of talisman (imo). It's dense, arduous and long but with the right table of friends it's a riot. Highly recommend for nerds
