I bought this sight-unsniffed, and I don't regret it at all. I typically gravitate to bergamot, fig, and woody floral scents.I will say it takes a confident woman to pull this fragrance off - you'll smell totally unique, and not really of "human" - but the silage is close enough to the body that you're not going to be broadcasting to the world in only one spray. (I won't lie, I like this enough that I've been caught surreptitiously sniffing myself at work a couple times.) Men will probably have an easier go wearing this.I believe this is truly a unisex scent, though (as always) your body chemistry is definitely key to this one. It's absolutely awful on my bestie (sour herbal, woody, and flat), but on me this starts out beautifully woody with lush vegetal notes, becomes quite figgy with strong citrus peel as the day goes on, and ends with warm cedar with just hint of juniper. It's definitely a "mediterranean garden" - the next best thing I'd liken it to would be a dense citrus grove after the boughs have been trimmed for the year. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is sweet - it's more akin to the natural syrupy sweetness of ripe figs than it is to a clementine, or other sweet citrus smell - but it's absolutely delicious and I will wear it throughout the spring and summer for sure.

I purchased this one for my husband (but do steal it from him from time to time). Un Jardin Sur Le Nil d'Hermès is one of his go to summer perfume and I wanted to give this one a try as it is another popular iteration of the Jardins collection. Great find. Perfect sunny and refreshing light summer scent with character, halfway between eau de cologne and perfume in my opinion. I don't know how this one could offense anyone. Lovely mediterranean bouquet of citrus, orange blossom, fig, juniper and cypress. Like a more woody alternative to Ninféo Mio d'Annick Goutal, which I love. Plus I am a sucker for fig notes in perfumes!

The jardin mediterranee goes on with a wonderful scent however it lasts a short time.

Lovely scent that changes throughout the day. It starts out bright and crisp then melds to a spicy juniper. I receive compliments every time I wear it!

My daughter wears this fragrance and I found it to be fresh and young. As a mature woman, I love wearing it and my husband is mesmerized by it! Never disappoints!

It smells wonderful

It wasn't love at first sniff. At first I thought "fig explosion"! And salty, too. But somehow I kept wanting to smell my wrist over and over. It is so very unusual. After a week I became so addicted to this wonderful scent of sunshine and waves and fig leaves... mmmm, this is my new signature scent for this coming Spring! Happiness in a bottle. I think it is very feminine, I cannot imagine it on a man...
