Rock solid; unbeatable!
After having *many* USB3 flash drives fail, I got fed up and researched flash drive specs. After learning the difference between TLC, MLC and SLC I was lead to these Transcend drives which are MLC. Most flash drives are TLC, which is why they die after hundreds of read/write cycles. I bought a 32GB one for my personal use at a great price. After using it for a month or so without issue, I had work buy (4) 64GB ones. These were used constantly - up to 10x daily - mostly to move around audio files between computers. There were lots of Win7 PCs, one old XP machine with USB2 ports, and many Macs. Whether it's the technology or the chipset, these ALWAYS work perfectly. I'm happy to say I've finally found a reliable flash drive that also happens to be very fast, compact and even aesthetically pleasing. I'm buying many more soon! Update: I needed four more for another facility where a lot of sneaker-netting was needed (our DAW computers live offline). None of the four drives have exhibited any problems. Also all of the original ones are still in use! The price on these keeps going up - another testament of two things: positive reviews driving prices up and... you get what you pay for!

Good Endurance Specs, Easy to Handle, Quality Feel
I like that these drives are a bit physically larger than standard USB flash drives. It makes them easier to handle and less easy to loose. The price was a bit expensive but their endurance specs were good. I burn ISO files to them and make bootable USB drives, so integrity of the flash is of paramount importance. I’d rather pay a bit more for piece of mind. I’ve used these drives on USB 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1 slots and it works well with all.

JetFlash 780 Fast MLC Premium Flash Drive
My fastest USB flash drive. Used for local backup of my important SSD files. CrystalDiskMark speed test 373 MB read, 87 MB write (sequential), 14 MB read, 8 MB write (random 4K). light weight, nice design, blue activity LED on top [not visible in product photo]. I format my flash drives using NTFS for more robust storage reliability with journaling than exFAT. Uses Multi-Level Cell (MLC) flash memory which is a hard-to-find premium/professional grade flash drive for many more write cycles and longer data retention time for long-term archiving, compared to cheaper consumer grade flash drives using Triple Level Cell (TLC). Tip: I turned off USB drive power-saver mode setting in Windows Control Panel Device Manager to keep it online after a period of inactivity. I plan to buy more.

Really nice flashie.
I also bought a smaller (16GB) version and am thrilled with both. I had previously bought SanDisk flashies but was disappointed how their file management software needlessly (IMO) made file identification so cryptic. The Transcend speed is incredible regardless of whether it is used on a 2.0 or 3.0 port and the blue indicator light is a bonus. I am recommending this product to all my coworkers and friends, a very uncharacteristic reaction for me in regards to editorializing products. Long-term reliability? Too early to comment on that yet, but on the initial experience, a buyer won't be disappointed.

Perfect For Me!
I think this Flash Drive is perfect. I believe that it is as fast as USB 3.0 will allow and I ran a couple of surface tests and it found no errors. Yes, I know that it is not really a surface test. I made it a bootable Acronis recovery disk with an encrypted image on it so finding errors was important.

cool and stable usb memory stick
more bigger size then others, but performance and endurance are one of masterpieces. My JF780s are working properly under -4 celsius all the time. Be careful about missing the plastic cap!

Super fast write speed
Perfect for my application!

Great flash drive, fast reads and writes. Not all USB 3.0 are the same, this is one of the fast ones, and is priced at a premium. Better to have one fast drive than 2 or 3 slow ones, unless of course you lose them. Highly recommended.

Nowhere near the advertised speeds. CrystalDiskMark showed the fastest these could go were 158MB/s READ and 25MB/s WRITE :-(

On pouvait logiquement s'y attendre...
