Exactly the quality and construction that I would expect from Kohler. This valve is simple to install and the operation is smooth. I had no issue with any connections or attaching the faucet and handles afterward. I did install this faucet behind tile which was pretty easy but will take much planning. You need to ensure that when you are done that your faucet will be at the correct height and centered in relation to your sink, and you want to make sure that the faucet and handles come out of the tile in a visually pleasing location. Probably one of the more difficult thinking/planning things I have done in my life.

This valve mounts very securely, the instructions are complicated but easy to follow. This valve works very well, faucet handles stay at 90°(horizontal). Ceramic valves work well and should last if water is relatively free of particulates. (not recommended for houses with old galvanized pipes)

After installing in wall, cold water valve was leaking. Returning item is super difficult since wall has to be torn down. This valve was sold as used like new and it was defective

This product was modified and we didn’t discover until installation. This should not have been resold. The inlet valves have been modified. More importantly my plumber wanted his time troubleshooting with Kholer.

Very nice. Make sure that you install it at the right wall depth and account for tile and float or drywall.
