I am truly a novice, who started this because I wanted to make Salvation/Faith Bracelets, that I saw others selling online, for my nieces and nephews... I can truly and honestly say, that STRETCH MAGIC is a really good string. I tried beadalon, and when I went to test it, like I did stretch magic, by holding a long piece with both hands and stretching it many times, the beadalon broke but the stretch magic one held up and never broke, no matter how many times I kept trying to make it break. Love this stuff for beading and although I usually use the clear, the black works well with darker or opaque beads. My local store only carries the 16 ft spools, so it is wonderful to find this 82 ft spool. Stretch Magic is MUCH better than other brands for durability.

I stretched the heck out of this stuff, tied surgeons knots, used glue… nothing makes these knots hold. Very disappointing purchase, not sure what all the hype is about.

Cord thickness is not even, wasted my money.
