It worked for my master bath.
I moved into a beautiful apartment across town where the rent is expensive and the communities are gated. However my neighbors cook curry 3 times a day. I’m sure the smell is good in their home but by the time it seeps through and enters into my home, it smells foul. It’s a terrible odor, it doesn’t even smell like food by the time it reaches me. The place where it enters my home is threw my master bath and master bedroom. After dinner time the foul odor can linger in my home all night. My child has asthma. So Fragrances, air fresheners, plug ins, diffusers ….are a no. I have been opening all the windows and running the ceiling fan which is a great solution. It works. However I can’t use that same solution for winter. I hung 2 bags in the ceiling on the AC vent & within 1 hour I could tell the odor was leaving. This gives me hope about maintaining a fresh smelling home.

These really WORK!!
I left a vegetable in the veggie drawer when we went on an extended vacation. We always dump our ice cubes (side-by-side, built in fridge), and I was surprised that they tasted 'funny' the next day. Then I noticed a chemical/medicinal/weird smell every time I opened the fridge door. The power had gone out for 4 days in-between. Well we cleaned it all out--I mean EVERYTHING, including cleaning labels of bottles, etc. And by "we", I pretty much mean my husband did it all. The smell/taste stubbornly remained. We put a bowl of baking soda in the fridge--no luck. Then I got these and *bam* - smell was gone. Fridge saved!! These can be "recharged" by putting in sunshine for 1/2 hour too, so they will last forever, and they fit nicely wherever I put them. Worth every penny for sure, so easy to use (although I doubt they'd have worked without cleaning.) I have some in another place and they work there too so good quality, have recharged previously and they do continue to perform. Even come with hangers when needed. Highly recommend~!

Natural Odor Eliminator for Any Space
I placed these bamboo charcoal bags in my basement, closet, and car, and they really work to reduce musty and stubborn odors. Unlike chemical deodorizers, these feel completely natural and safe, which is a big plus for my home environment. Each bag is a good size and lasts a long time — I’ve been using them for months with consistent results. They’re easy to refresh by placing in sunlight every month or so, which helps maintain their effectiveness. I appreciate that they’re reusable and eco-friendly, making them a smart choice for ongoing odor control.Tip: Place them near air vents or in enclosed spaces for the best odor absorption.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a chemical-free way to keep their spaces smelling fresh.

These activated carbon bags do remove odors, but they are not rejuvenated by the sun.
"Rejuvenate For Up To 2 Years ... in the sunlight for a couple of hours"I can find absolutely no scientific evidence that UV light has any effect on activated carbon.I measured the amount of UVA and UVB light that gets through the double layer bag holding the charcoal: in direct sunlight, producing 262 microwatts/cm^2 the bag blocks all but 39 microwatts/cm^2 (only 15% gets through). The top layer of charcoal would stop any light from reaching anything below. The standard ways to regenerate activated carbon are:Regeneration / Active CarbonActivated carbon is an expensive product. In most of the cases the cost of replacing the saturated carbon would be prohibitive. It should therefore be regenerated, and four methods have been developed for this purpose:Steam regenerationThis method is restricted to regenerating carbon which has only retained a few very volatile products.Thermal regenerationBy pyrolysis and burning off of adsorbed organic substances. In order to avoid igniting the carbon, it is heated to about 800 °C in a controlled atmosphere. This is the widely used method and regenerates the carbon very well, but it has two disadvantages: it requires considerable investment in either a multiple-hearth furnace and it causes high carbon losses.Chemical regenerationSome process based on the action of a solvent used at a temperature of approximately 100 °C and with a high pH.Biological regenerationThis method of regeneration has not yet been applied on an industrial scale.

Easy to use, right size for the place I wanted them for.
Just got them so a little too early to see if they do what is advertised but they are small enough To fit in drawers. Very easy to use, just place in the drawer. So far it’s good. I do notice a decrease in the musty odor. It says they will last for 2 years but need to put in sunlight to regenerate so it’s too soon for that. I like them so far.

Thoroughly Impressive!
I get how it works in theory, and I read the reviews, but I tell you it works perfectly and quickly and effectively.A perfect product that does exactly what it says. very well at a good price.removed lingering odors in a variety of different spaces and settings for weeks now.it might have taken 2 or 3 days to clear the air, but since then it's perfect maintaining freshness in car, and large rooms, ans damp spaces.

GETS RID OF CIGARETTE ODOR!
We put our house on market to sell and found out house smelled like cigarettes because we had smoked in house. No home remedy worked to get rid of smell. This was my last ditch effort before having it professionally done so I put one under couch, beds, in closets and laying around house. They worked QUICK! In 2 days the smell was gone and the house is now pending sale. Cigarette smell is the hardest odor to rid a house of so I would assume if it gets rid of that it will get rid of anything.
