I'm a little nervous buying electrical items on Amazon due to thd amount of fakes but I required an appliance to charge my phone and tablet.Even with both items on charge I touched the socket for any signs of heat. None whatsoever. With both USB sockets in use, the speed at which my phone/tablet charged, i cannot complain about.... And no heat.

These aren’t the cheapest available but they are the most reliable I’ve tried. I find Anker products in general to be well made. I’ve bought a number of these for different devices around my home, including to power under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, various device charging in bedroom and at work; they have never let me down. The USB port is a snug fit, unlike cheap alternatives whereby the cable can slip out or you damage your cable trying to remove as it’s too tight. These are the Goldilocks zone of charging plugs and very handy so I can have my watch and phone charging in the same socket. Highly recommended you pay the extra for the quality.
