Popping corn is an art dependant first on the quality of the raw product and the science behind the process. Too little moisture content and the kernel won't pop. Too little starch and the popped kernel won't be as big. My wife and I love popcorn. It's one of those treats that are lower in calories than others and we find that a 1/4 cup of kernels translates to a big tub of popcorn. After popping we sprinkle canderel on it which makes it sweet but slimming. We use the stove top with a large pan and 2 tbsp of corn oil. Lovely taste, quick and easy. Used Tesco East End popcorn in the past but this is better. Good value, ease of use, great taste.I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have no difficulty recommending this item. What's not to like. Go buy!

Really good deal and quite tasty and satisfying. I've had "gourmet" popcorn, with large kernels and a deal-breaking amount of husk. This is reasonable. Not everything pops, but I go easy on the oil (microwave) and sometimes leave the unpopped for the next round. Considering a subscription because I'm really going through it

Very good. I microwaved for 3 minutes 30 seconds dry, very few unpopped kernels, no burned kernels.Then I melted some vegan butter and popcorn salt, and drizzled over then shook it so it covered all the popcorn. Perfect popcorn.

We haven’t actually used these yet but they look good quality and come in a biggish bag, enough for us anyway to last a while. Will definitely buy again as price was good. We got the popcorn maker with it too for a deal together.

I purchased the 2KG Popping Corn Kernels with high hopes of enjoying some delicious homemade popcorn. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the popping results. Despite following the instructions carefully, a significant number of the kernels did not pop and were left unpopped in the pot or microwave. The popcorn that did pop was also quite small and not as fluffy as I had hoped. The taste was also underwhelming and lacked the fresh and buttery flavour of store-bought popcorn. Overall, I would not recommend these popping corn kernels to others and will be looking for a different brand for my next popcorn-making attempt.
