Excellent!!
We bought a refurbished XBox. It stopped working with a new game inside. Not only did the seller send another Xbox out to us but we also got our game back. I was so surprised and amazed. Excellent service. Really made my day!

Controller doesn't work
Console seems to be working fine but the controller doesn't work correctly which doesn't give me much confidence in the Console

Not what we expected
The system works great BUT it's an older version so it only uses corded controls (2) and will not connect to internet or Kinect so wireless controls are useless. Good thing I had corded controls as backup but now have to sit close to tv cause cords not long enough. Abit inconvienent but it works

Acceptable
From what I can read from other reviews, everyone's experience will be different based on the base condition of the console before refurbishment, and post refurbishment by whoever. I bought from RetroRefresh and so far my console is working. The moment it stops working, I will certainly update my review accordingly.I'll start with the problem I have with it. When I first opened the package, I turned the console over slowly and I can hear what sounds like a loose screw rattling around the insides. I think that's potentially very bad. If I had the skills to open up the console I wouldn't rely on refurbished consoles, so I'm in need of this to be as good as possible, so that's disappointing. I haven't run into problems caused by this yet, so I'll hold off on being overly critical for now.-Everything I got in the box was packaged very well. Massive amounts of bubble wrap. Good shipping packaging.-The console I received works well as I'd hoped. We'll see how long it lasts. I'll update my review based on its lifespan. The body of the console looks good. Regular scratches on the gloss is familiar.-The hard drive in the console was cleaned up. No previous user data on it. 250gb.-I got an official Xbox 360 controller with mine, but it's junk. It was cleaned up to look completely new, but yeah, all the buttons are super janky and is useless. I'm going to have to throw it to recycling. Doesn't bother me. I have several third party controllers that are far better.-The power supply I got was an official one. I plugged it in and see it powers on, but I'm sticking with the original power supply I already have, otherwise there are third party ones available.-The HDMI cable I got is the cheapest thing, and I haven't tested it. The packaging features broken English, so it's obviously made by a foreign company. It measures 5ft or so. Again, it doesn't matter to me as I have my own HDMI cables. Now I just have an extra. It did come with caps that I stuck to cover my other cables while they're left laying around as I regularly threw those away and now wanted some, so that was handy. As you can tell, I just needed a console. Accessories and other necessities are appreciated except for such a junk controller, no matter that it's official. You need an Xbox 360 to play Tenchu Z and Armored Core: Verdict Day. Emulation with Xenia isn't perfect and Microsoft isn't that dedicated to providing backwards compatibility support for Tenchu Z on the Xbox Series X, so I'm reliant on having to buy an old, used console to enjoy those games. Consoles are limited to being used/refurbished. Controllers can be adapted with a Brook Wingman, there are 3rd party power supply units, and HDMI cables are regular things, so that's why my review is more dedicated to the console.I've bought two other Xbox 360s in the past. One of them was the first release which had bad disc tray opening. The second 360 I got suddenly wouldn't power on (tried different power outlets and another power brick). So here I am with this third 360. Someone said Microsoft makes great consoles, but if I'm needing to buy this many consoles just for something to work, that's not good. My PS2 Slim and PS3 Super Slim have worked longer than any of my Xboxes.

Nostalgia
First off I wanna thank lightning deals group for sending me a functional Xbox 360, it means the world to me! I bought this Xbox 360 to play left 4 dead and left 4 dead 2 for my brother and I. We grew up on the Xbox 360 and left 4 dead was our go to game all the time! We Could play on it for hours without getting bored. Now that we have grown up we talked to each other about reliving our childhood and I decided to surprise him with getting this Xbox 360 and the games. All I want to say is thank you lightning deal group for rekindling our childhoods! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT!

Superb Condition
I wanted a XBox 360 to put in our vacation home that would work with a new TV. My old XBox is component-only. This one is near new I tested everything I could immediately on arrival and it performed like new. Still, I purchased it through Amazon because of the 90-day warranty. It is, after all, 10 years old and I have taken apart older machines with fatigued parts from years of use. I also purchased insurance to extend the warranty. Same reason.
