Premium Plastic Silver Banded Service for 8 with Assorted Cutlery, 40 pieces

I was planning a 70th birthday party for 60 people and wanted something nicer than paper plates and stronger.I have used this product before and it just adds to any venue. It looks great if you are setting the tables ahead of time also. Your guests won't know it's not china until they pick it up and then they comment how nice it is.This time I washed the plates and tucked away for another party, since I invested in a larger quantity. Because this was a luncheon with sandwiches and salads it was still in good shape! If you were cutting steak it MIGHT be a different story and would not save as well......not sure.I have read other reviews and cannot understand any complaints........remember it is plastic at it's best!!

Used these for a small holiday party. Had intended to get disposable to save time and energy and not wash dishes. Thought these would be nicer than paper. And they definitely are--many of my guests exclaimed over them, including the flatware that looks entirely real. But I then decided to wash and re-use again instead of disposing them so kind of defeated the original purpose. They're that nice! Sturdier than paper but still somewhat flexible so I wouldn't want to have to cut something like steak--unless seated at a table. very nice!

I bought several sets of these for a party we were hosting. It was great to get everything together in one set.The plates were very substantial and solid, a huge improvement over paper plates of any sort. And as other reviews note, the silverware looks great and is easily mistaken for real silverware in appearance (until you pick it up and discover that it is light). Despite the silverware being light, it is strong and works well, and is normal sized unlike some plastic sets.The only drawback is that the finish on some of the silverware had rubbed in such a way that it turned black in places. That made some of the pieces look spotted or unclean. However, it wasn't noticeable on very many, so we simply threw those few pieces away. We had wanted the plates more than the silver anyway.Other items I can recommend for a party are inexpensive but nice wine glasses Libbey Vina Stemless 17-Ounce White Wine Glasses, Set of 4 and slate cheese boards Boska Holland Slate Cheese Board, 13 Inch by 9 Inch. I love these plastic plates and utensils. I have used them for both a baby shower and bridal shower and plan on using them again for my sister-in-law's bridal shower in a few months. At each event, guests have commented on how nice these look, surprised that they can throw their plate away after they are done eating. The hard plastic also ensures that moist foods and sauces don't leak through, like with paper plates.

This is a great product. I was skeptically at first but these showed up and are perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner. I couldn't believe these are plastic! They are very elegant but practical for what we need. I got them because they were nice but could be thown away after dinner but I think I may try to save them they are so nice.

I use these constantly when entertaining & most of my guests are impressed. The only problem was the order was supposed to delivered next morning before 11am didn’t get til late in the day:(

These are pretty nice looking and I was needing enough for 30 people so I was going to buy 4 sets. After buying this one to check the quality I ended up getting a very similar quality set at the local "bulk discount" store for a great price.I drop a star because these should be in the single digit dollar amount.
