I have super sensitive ears. I have three holes in each lobe. I keep these earrings in my second and third hole 24/ 7. I take them out to change the earring to a new set about once a month. These are amazing az everyday earnings

I purchased these because I wanted the sturdy clasp of a piercing stud so I could wear the earrings constantly to keep my current piercing from closing up. I did the same as another reviewer and bout these instead of the colored version so that way if I lose one earring, I still have several that will match the one I don't lose.I did have some redness when putting these in, but that went away within an hour after I quit messing with it. While the post is thicker, it doesn't cause any discomfort. The only problem I had with the thickness was that since it is stepped up instead of sloped, I had a really hard time getting the back of my ear over that lip. It took me a while to realize that the thick post keeps the clasp from going further up the post than it is supposed to. I really like this because it both keeps me from accidentally pinching my ear and exposing the point that could poke me in the neck.Combine that with the fact that you get 12 pairs of earrings for 14 bucks and Prime shipping, this is an awesome deal!

Exactly what I've been looking for! These are the exact of what Sally's (known better as the hair store) since they changed their inventory a few months ago. I have multiple ear piercings and I've been using these since day one. To answer all of the questions: yes, these are the ones that are for the peircing guns. Yes, they are sterile. Yes they are larger, 16 gauge to be exact which all professional peircing guns use, also yes on babies, and yes they use 18 guage at Clair's or Icing. If you have an issue I suggest spinning them. But these are the best option for medical personnel and others including mothers who don't want their ears ripped through. These are also excellent for people who have allergies to jewelry including nickel allergies (i.e. Myself and my mother who also wears them) basically, I am beyond thrilled that I found these and they were 80% cheaper than in stores! Thank you!

These are exactly what I hoped they would be! They're the only earrings I can leave in without making my ears sore. I honestly didn't think I would be able to buy them but decided to check Amazon and there they were! I tried several years ago to purchase a pair from a jewelry store but they refused unless I was getting another piercing. I'm thrilled with these! :)

I bought these for well-healed piercings, so that's what I'm reviewing. I don't recommend anyone pierce with a gun - go see a professional piercer, please!That being said, I have five cartilage piercings and I prefer earrings that are easy to remove with long nails. Backs are necessary for me. These are pretty pieces with bright stones. The packaging was intact and solid. The earrings have caused me no issue whatsoever, and I've worn them consistently. I generally have issues with substandard metals, so I'm confident these are legitimately 316L.

I have four earrings in one ear and 6 in the other and for holidays and an upcoming memorial I wanted them all to match. These are just like the ones you buy when you get your ears first pierced, in sterile boxes, they are a little thicker than normal earrings and some of my ear holes had grown in and I used some antibacterial cream on each earring when I put them in and all is good. They snap in tight not worried about losing them they look nice they sparkle and I'm very pleased. Because I have so many I don't take them out very often.

I love them! Just as described. Piercing posts are supposed to be thicker than normal earring posts (like these are). Anyone buying these & expecting anything different, really needs to read the title & description of an item before purchasing. You cant give a lowwer review because YOU misordered. I like to wear piercing studs in my cartilage because the back basically clips on. Its hard to take the back off, so I wont lose them in my sleep.

Very attractive. Would be 5 stars except for the overly tight backing. Actually used one with the Caflon gun to pierce my nose (although not recommended). Hurt more than with the ears but worked very well.Mallory
