If you can't afford a trip to Kauai but always wanted to taste an authentic macadamia nut shortbread cookie, these are the ones for you. These taste just like the ones I had on the island. It is very hard to eat just one, so if you are watching calories - look out. These only problem is not with the cookies, but with the packaging, the box is not really rugged enough for the rigors of Amazon shipping and more than a few times I've had my cookies arrive in pieces. I do wish they would beef up the boxes. I never had that problem when I would buy them at stores in Hawaii.

Had planned these for a Hawaiian party. I’ve had these before and they were delicious but these were all smashed to bits and I couldn’t serve them. Very unhappy!

My very good friend, vacationing in Hawaii, sent me a package of these Aloha cookies which on the plus side were very enjoyable, probably one of the best cookies I've ever experienced, (they might well be, for the price). What I didn't find enjoyable on a follow up order on my part, Which I can assure will be a one time purchase, was the price for what was received via Amazon.The order contained 6 cookies, about 2 inches in diameter for each cookie and the price is . $1.30 per cookie. These are certainly priced for the carriage set, In all fairness, I was compelled to give a 5 star rating on the basis of quality and taste, but had the feed back a place for rating price fairness I would certainly given a one star rating. It may well be in the category of a "Comfort food", but it certainly is in the category of a "discomfort food" for my pocket book

Okay, either stop selling them or figure out a way to get them to me in the shape of a cookie and not a box of pieces. I ordered two boxes(I'm from Hawaii) and I think there was only one fully shaped cookie! I'll order direct from Hawaii, pay the higher shipping, but at least I"ll have something resembling a cookie. This was my fourth time we these cookies, shoulda learned my lesson. But they always arrived in pieces!

I purchased these in Kauai on my honeymoon and fell in love. I wasn't able to bring any back with me due to space constraints so I was so happy to find them on amazon. The quality and freshness matched what I found on the island. I look forward to being able to order this lovely treat again in the future.
