I needed to replace my original Kenwood wiring harness as the speaker wire leads were cut too short. I was disappointed (at first) to see that this did not have the Illumination wire like the original. But, it did include an additional wire, and since the original had an intact tag on it, I was able to use that to identify this wire and it worked. Haven't had any problems with it after the install.
