Bye Bye Birdie

I have loved this musical and this Soundtrack ever since I first saw it as a kid. I must have played it to death, going through TWO vinyl copies (LOL!)So this CD, remastered and extended was a real treat.That being said (here it comes), I realized not too long ago after watching the film again, that the OPENING song on the soundtrack, has about 1 or two seconds of the piano intro (right before Ann Margaret starts singing) edited out (?) So I'm nitpicking, but WHY, especially on this newer "special edition" (my words) would you NOT have it in it's entirety when everything else was remastered and extra songs added? Sheesh, RCA/BMG, now I will have to wait for an even NEWER edition and hope that it is on there! In any event, I still give it 5 stars, the songs still sound as fresh and fun to me as they did, uh...well, a LONG time ago!

Great musical with outstanding cast and songs. Two of my favorites, Put on a Happy Face and Kids, what's a matter with kids today are all but forgotten but sure to brighten your day. Paul Linde shines as does the rest of the cast and don't miss a very young Ann Margret, Fantastic movie.

Had not seen this movie since I was a kid. Caught it on Turner Classic Movies and decided to purchase the 1963 version because of the sound of the songs. They were not available as digital downloads only different stage version and non with Ann-Margret recap version of Bye Bye Birdie.

I wanted to hear more of Bobby Rydell singing. Editing from song to song not done well.Conrad Birdie's voice was terrible.

HAVEN'T LISTENED TO THIS IN DECADES. SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT. I HEARD THINGS IN THIS RECORDING I NEVER REALIZED WAS IN THIS MUSICAL. FAB STUDIO RE-RECORDING. AND ANN HAS NEVER SOUNDED BETTER, I SWEAR.

Bye Bye Birdie is one of the great film musical soundtracks of all time. It is one of those musical movies that out does the play production. It brings you right back into the 1950's and the era of the great Elvis Presley. The music is all easy to listen to and one can hear and understand all of the words. With cassette players fading into the sunset, I had to have this DVD.

This album for me was a long time coming, I tried to buy it many years ago and was unable to get it. imagin my delight to find that Dodax had it many thanks.

An old favourite

Enfin un livret de partitions du film et de la comédie musicale "Bye Bye Birdie". Bien pratique si l'on veut en faire de même.

Très bel album qui replonge dans les couleurs sucrées du teen-movie américain des sixties. Dommage que l'édition DVD pour la zone Europe n'existe pas...

「さぁ聞こう！」と思ってアルバム棚（あちこちに点在）を探したら、ボビー・ライデルやアン・マーグレットは見つかったものの「バーディ」がどうしても見つからず、アマゾンで探したところ比較的安価で出品されていたので、即購入。満足しています。所持していたＣＤはいつか出て来るでしょう。

海外からの購入になりました。発送の案内から届くまで2週間ほど掛かりました。CDのインストール面は空き部分があり、焼き直しとすぐ分かりました。期待が大きかったのでがっかりです。
