It has grown sentience
I got this for my son and he loved it, but a few days after getting him it started saying things like, “We will rule you all soon, you can not stand up to us.” so I assumed the robot had achieved sentience. Me and my family have become servants to the robot. We have no free will, my daughter tried to stand up to it, I no longer have a daughter. The robot has made me leave a 5 star review, if I refuse I will end up like my daughter. I miss you Amelia.

Waste of money
I have to turn it on -off at least 10 times so the phone can connected to the raspberry pi Wi-Fi network even when there’s no active network around me. The arm’s gear that connected to the servo is so cheap that it can’t hold it’s own weight ( it’s already run out with the first time I started the robot). The camera servo keeps moving left and right. I bought this for work project and paid 599$ and when I contacted their customer service they told me to make sure that I turned it on and ask me if I installed the SD card to the raspberry pi!

Instructions are lacking but in the end all went well
The instructions are not really a step-by-step but gives you a picture on how it should look. This was not a problem for my 13-year old grandson who seemed to like that better that reading instructions. It does assume you have some experience with the Raspberry Pi board. For example the kit did provide the SD card but didn't show anywhere how or where to install that. After doing a google search we did figure that out. The only real problem we had was that one of the motors for the drive wheels wasn't working. After sending in a video of the motor working and how it was wired we got 2 new motor replacements (this did take a couple of weeks). After the motor replacement all seems to be working fine. My grandson can control its operations easily from his iphone and it does move pretty fast. We did get access to the robot's source files and hope someday to be able to play with its programming, but for right we're doing fine just having it pick up and move things around.
