It really works well.
An honest review as I've had this piece for 5 yrs.now. I have an old metal sink. 97% of the time it is suctioned on and doesn't move. But yes here and there it slips off. Usually when I am doing really heavy cleaning of large pots and pans that keep bumping it, when the whole sink needs cleaning well as embarrassing enough, sometimes a full deep scrubbing occurs once a month. (Or longer...don't judge) Or when the sink is getting hit with oils from PTSD and pans often. But again it falling off is usually the reminder, I don't know, TO CLEAN! So I clean everything well, toss it in the dishwasher, dry up the sink area and once it is out, I resuction it back on. That is it. It is small but sturdy and 5 yrs later it is still used daily in my kitchen sink. I toss out sponges faster than I need to reattach it. I definitely got my monies worth.I did have those plastic no pressure suction ones prior, and those really do fall off daily. This one uses a pressure lever for the added attachment like a needy toddler always sticking around.

Great.
Love this!I needed a new sponge holder as the previous, and different model OXO, was getting old. I saw this and decided to get this one. It works.Likes?: Love the design. This is designed to be placed on the sink somewhere (may only really work well on a steel/metal sink and not porcelain) - and I am able to make this inconspicuous. The way this attaches is quite good, and stays a long time. The open design so the sponge can dry is brilliant.Dislikes: Only one. Why didn't I buy this in the first place?Overall: Great.

Perfect
I began living alone recently for the first time in 20 years and had to learn some new details of housekeeping. One of these (I noticed it at a friend's house) was the suction-cup sponge holder for the kitchen sink. Wonderful invention. Don't recall seeing this two decades ago. This OXO product is excellent. Sturdy, well-designed and with a tray that can hold a thick sponge. One comment: I noticed on the 1- and 2-star reviews people complaining hat the suction cup doesn't hold. That's likely because they failed to read the directions on the package. You don't wet the suction cup and press it onto the wet sink wall. It will fall off easily if you do that.Instead, the cup has a lever that you release after detaching the tray. Then you place the DRY cup against a DRY sink wall and press the lever inward to lock the cup in place. Then hang the tray back on it.Do this properly and the thing clings to your sink like a barnacle on a ship's hull.Very pleased with this purchase. Paid a bit more than cheaper options but it should last a long time. "Buy once, cry once."

Doesn’t slide down, stays put!
The media could not be loaded. This my favorite sponge holder. It’s easy to attach to the sink and holds are regular sponge.I attached mine closest to where you’d stand, if you’re at the sink. When I installed it, I made sure the sink wall was dry.Lots of positives:1. If you position it right, you can’t see the sponge holder until you get close to the sink. Which I like when you have guests and the sponge isn’t in plain view.2. It’s durable/substantial, made of thick plastic and has a strong suction cup.3. It does what it’s supposed to do, holds a sponge and keeps it off the bottom of the sink, which allows it to dry.4. The drainage holes are big enough to let water through5. It’s easy to clean6. I like how it looks7. It stays put and doesn’t slide down8. You can remove the one piece so that if you have a big pan the holder won’t get in the way.9. Longevity wise, we just replaced our old one from 5 years ago. It still worked, but wanted something that looked newer. This is a great value.

Great kitchen sink caddy
FINALLY!! I Finally found a caddy that stays in place and works as it should. I don't have a huge apartment sink and even though it may look a little bigger than some out there - this worked perfectly. It isn't too big. I also love it has a great suction grip and yet plenty of room for a nice size sponge and more. My target one just wouldn't stay in place. Hated it. I LOVE this one. GET IT! You will not regret.
