used this for a DIY arcade project where I needed to have some custom button and joystick assignments. This provided the exact ability to do this and worked perfectly.

Really like this board and in general the boards this company makes. Solid performance, and does not appear to have any noticeable issues, but haven’t checked for input ghosting limits. Response time is my main concern for building custom VJ/Video controllers, and performs very quickly.Not a paid review.

My laptop recognized it as a joystick but my pc properly recognized it as a keyboard and worked great ... not sure if the price is high nothin to compare it to but you can buy a keyboard for 10$ complete with keys

This worked really well for my RetroPie emulator.

Love this product just what I need for my arcade

I bought this to use in my arcade control panel for the coin and player starts, the pinball flippers on the side and a rear button for the escape key. Windows does not recognize it and can't pull anything from the device.Tried to find drivers online but after an hour of searching, I gave up. I found plenty of the boards for sale on eBay and Alliexpress but no drivers nor instructions. I will just buy another EG STARTS board and remap the keys to it.

For an autonomous data logging system which I constructed using a miniature Win10 computer, it was necessary to shut down the system in Sleep, Hibernate or Power Down mode as defined by a front panel switch. This was readily accomplished by driving the encoder with optocouplers rather than push buttons. The encoder then issues the appropriate USB keyboard command. An elegant but simple solution to a complex problem and it works beautifully.

Took about 10 mins to get it working using on the Raspberry pi and using the equivalent of notepad. to monitor the letters input. What I can't understand is that the letters are upside down on the screen.k Any ideas?I have just answered my own question, the problem must have been with the pi as it is working properly now
