This mount works great. The mount itself is heavy and sturdy, but the headrest brackets clamp down firmly, so it'll probably last at least a year of continual commercial use (and probably beyond). I use this mount for rideshare driving so my customers can choose their own background music off my 4th Gen iPod Touch. I've found that it's best to separate the audio for my Bluetooth headset connected phone so I can silently take personal calls and listen to GPS navigation while all the customer hears is their audio selection over the car speakers. Oftentimes, customers want to connect their cell phones via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable to the car speaker system, choose music off my mp3 player, listen to the radio, or go silent altogether, and this mount helps facilitate that wider range of choice. It also comes with four USB charging ports (3 USB A and one USB C), so that puts the possible USB ports available to customers in my car to about 6-10. Takes a few responsibilities off me as I drive. The mount itself can be set to float in between the front two seats, freeing up valuable real estate on the center console and the backs of the front seats. Coupled with a Cargo vending box, free water in insulated backseat organizers, and a trash bag, and my car is transformed into a taxi service / mobile jukebox / vending machine / mini-fridge / charging station / VIP lounge / trash service. Heck, if this really takes off, maybe I'll pull the coup de grâce, destroy my customers' brains, and spring the extra money for some heated massage seat cushions. Not sure if I'm going to go the extra mile and have advertisements painted on my car exterior, but at that point, why the hell not? Pretty much a synergistic license to print money. Capitalism at its finest. So far, it all works together in contributing to an all around next level professional party bus rideshare atmosphere with maximum convenience and choice hailed as the prevailing themes. Or at least, that's my take on what America is all about. So, do yourself a favor, make the American choice, and buy this mount. Because AWESOMENESS = MONEY = AMERICA.

Special Needs kids can get frustrated with products that don't work as expected or what we convey through adds to our kids. We just want stuff that works like it should. I have no complains about this one. It fastens sturdy to the Head rest, can be removed without any loss in its ability to be reattached. I can't attest to the extension part using a tablet, but the main part if very sturdy for phones or the Switch which is mainly what I got it for.

I ordered this rear headrest mount to replace a competitors that broke the second I tried to attach it. The fact that it is slide adjustable to fit mostly any headrest is great. The thumbscrew functions to attach the unit to the vertical headrest bars assure that it will be as secure as you let it, which is good if you have different people adjusting it. The unit holds the tablet ( it will also hold a phone ) pretty sturdy. The best feature is that it can accommodate a device that pretty much has any case on it (something that the competitors product required the case be removed as it was designed with the actual unit dimensions) It has a directly behind the seat attachment as well as an extendable attachment to have it move to the center of the backseats for multiple passengers (Although the extension will allow it to wobble a bit, but thankfully not very much.) The ball joint adjustment helps to avoid any glare or light issues which is huge ( virtually any angle, vertical or horizontal.). I’ve used it on multiple road trips since purchased and my son, who is 9, operates it with his tablet with ease. Would have given 5 stars but I would like the extendable bar a little bit stronger to minimize the slight sag and wobble, but overall, it is one multifunctional, good unit to have in the car. I will most likely purchase a second unit for my wife’s car.

Assembly was easy and simple to put all together. It has great hold and even when I had to slam on my brakes it never moved. It felt a little flimsy at first but once it is tightened down it went together perfectly. I love that the kids dont need to hold onto the ipad anymore. The oldest can reach it from his seat, they pick a movie and sit back and relax quietly on the road! I have a new iPad Mini for reference

The design and product is awesome. It does everything you need it to do, is easy to use and looks decent. The problem is with the clamps. They will brake almost instantly. Mine lasted about a month before the left clamp broke.

Used this to hold an S9 FE tablet on a long trip and it held it nicely. It's easy to grab the tablet either out of the holder or with the holder attached. Worked flawlessly for both kids to see the tablet.

I really want to like this as the concept is beautiful. I needed an arm holder since I have a 2020 Traverse that does not have a center headrest in the second row and I wanted something to be able to reach over from the side seats to float in the middle seat for our rear facing toddler\infant seat.The adjustment for holding it in place is great for fitting in our small head rest bars. However fully extended since it is aluminum be prepared to see slight sag as the inner extension reaches almost the complete end of the larger extension. It would work better if they had a forced stop on the inner larger tube for better stability.The issue I have is the auto retracting arm\face works great retracting out but the concept is you should be able to retract it back in to hold the tablet in place, but it just does not work for me. i tried with a Samsung Tab A, Nvidia Shield K1, Ipad, and Samsung Galaxy Tab and they all fall out and are not able to be held in place. I can get it to hold in place if I use a rubber kids holder on one of the tablets and literally wedge/jam it into place but still sometimes falls out.I dont know if I got a dud as all the other reviews were great, which was the reason I purchased this but sadly I wouldn't recommend this product
