Save yourself the stress!
My colleagues believed this to be an unnecessary purchase but soon changed their minds.When you are constantly using stud it's beyond stressful trying to mount units, duct work etc and you can't get a nut on the end of the rod (usually whilst you are holding what you are mounting in the air) this tool quickly eliminates the burr and makes it a breeze every time.I've used this about a hundred times or more at this time and it still works flawlessly. One thing I will mention is for small lengths of studding or removing large amounts of burr you will want to use grips or a vice to hold the stud, it requires some force to get started.Another thing this is great for is you can go over the top and use it to cone the ends which can be very handy if you are trying to thread the rod into hard to reach places.This will save you the stress and it's easier and faster and better than trying to do it with a grinder or a file, highly recommend

This tool works great.
This tool works great either by hand or on a drill.I used it on copper 15mm pipe and it took only a few turns by hand with moderate pressure to do the job. Its also for deburing heavier metals like bolt threads.Its fittings worked with my screwdriver and drill. I think its a hex...Feels sturdy and trusty with great results. A tool bit that works. One to keep in the tool box.Id recommend this.

An essential for rod !!
The media could not be loaded. Should have bought this a long time ago!! Easy and quick to use nut goes on every time with out a problem on every use. Used on 8 and 10mm threaded rod.

Actually works really well
This is better than the alternative cheaper version that are available. Does exactly what it's supposed too, even on harder bolts. I would say OK for infrequent use but not sure how well it will fair up under constant use. All in does a nice job of chamfering the ends of bolts.

Defective Product Sealey Deburring tool after just 2 mild steel rod ends
The product was either defective, or not fit for purpose.Two of the blades fell out after deburring just 2 M12 mild steel rod ends.This is listed as a Sealey DB04 3-19mm External Deburring/Chamfer Tool, and I know Sealey is a good company, so is the item genuine????
