Got it a few weeks ago. Can't speak to longevity, but it's nice and heavy, cuts easily into hard ice cream, and I love the big handle for a solid, comfortable grip. One of the best ice cream scoopers I've used.

This is the best scoop ever. I love the thicker grip so my hand doesn’t cramp when scooping out the ice cream. The scoop design itself makes the perfect sized scoops and cuts through hardened ice cream like butter. The ice cream rolls right off it when deposited. It is on the heavier side but I actually like that about it. It’s solid and well crafted. Highly recommend
