Review for the 2 channel timer: It works great! Worked on my Current USA Orbit Marine Pro
I spilled saltwater on my Current USA Orbit Marine Pro timer a couple too many times and broke it. So, I was on the market for a new timer. A new Orbit Marine Pro timer was $70, which is ridiculous. So I bought this one instead. It is a little complicated to setup, but you can have it ramp intensity up and down (a 15 minute sunrise, sunset mode) and you can adjust the intensity of each channel. It is also a timer as well, obviously. You can change the on and off time for each channel. Overall, it pretty much does exactly what my old timer did! The directions are a little vague in how you setup the timer initially, but just mess around with it and you will figure out how to do all of the stuff I mentioned above.

Works Perfectly
I love love love this timer in conjunction with the NICREW ClassicLED Gen 2 Aquarium Light. I've had both of them for six months and they work absolutely perfectly. In the morning the lights gently ramp up through a dawn setting into daytime. In the evening they ramp down through a dusk into night. The fish love it and are so much more active and alert now. They seem to enjoy the "gentle wake-up" rather than going from dark into blaring bright sunshine.Setup was fairly easy, and once it's set it just keeps doing its thing. No problems at all.Well recommended.

Great option for freshwater fish tank lighting
When the LED light in my freshwater tank died, I did some research and ended up purchasing a NICREW Classic Gen 2 aquarium light. Many reviewers noted that the NICREW dual channel light timer worked well, so I also purchased this.It was a little weird setting it up and is something you definitely need to read the instructions for (not super intuitive - at least for me anyways). You should know exactly when you what your lights on/off and dimmed or not when doing the set up. I found that there wasn't a ton of time between settings, so I had to be quick about configuring the settings. Once it's set up though, it works great! I love the feature where the lights can be dimmed as they go off and gradually turn on again (instead of blasting your fish with bright light). It's also really cool that you can use settings for both white and blue light. I would recommend this for use with a freshwater aquarium light.

A Great Aquarium Light Option
This NICREW Dual Channel Aquarium Light Timer/LED Digital Dimmer for Classic LED G2 Fish Tank Light combination is working out well. It's too soon to know how reliable it will be long term, but I am well pleased with the ease of setup and the overall effect of moonlight/daylight combined with the slow on and slow off.

Satisfied
I have only had it up and running for a few days but it looks and feels great, and is very bright. The timer that comes with it is also great and pretty easy to set up and use. Great value for the price. The only thing I noticed was the power adapter going into the wall socket gets a little warm. Would recommend

Works great for my diy light
This little controller is perfect for what I need it for, simple to program, and runs 2 12v channels with PWM dimming. This means it should work for a variety of different LED lights. I have one channel running my main lights, and another just running a single 12v LED I use as a moon light. Controller memory saves when power is lost

Simple and does exactly what I need it to do
I have only been using this timer for about a week, but so far I'm happily surprised with how easy it is to use. I use it with the Nicrew ClassicLED Gen 2. I spent a ton of time researching timers and dimmers, and for my tight budget this seemed to be the best option. The ramp up and down features are probably less harsh on fish, but I really just wanted to be able to put a timer on my lights without being forced to keep them at 100% intensity. Based on reviews of some of the cheaper (non fluval) lights out there, it seems like a lot of the built in timers don't allow you to control intensity while in timer mode- this timer does allow you to do that. It gives you control of 1. the time that each light (white or blue) will turn on and off, and 2. the intensity your light will stay at after the 15 minute ramp up. I'm no tech expert and it only took a few minutes to figure out how to program this timer. You can also turn either light on/off at any time and it will save all your settings for you to go back to by just hitting the set button again.

Don't use with CO2! Killed my fish.
If the power goes out and comes back on, guess what? The light won't turn on, so if you have a planted tank with co2 and the power comes back on the solenoid will turn the co2 back on but NO light = dead fish... This item worked great until I lost power and it gassed my fish! I had to remove it and put the stock control switch back on that actually turns on and off with power. Waste of money and stuck with it since it's outside of free return window. Should come with a warning. I suppose this is fine with a low tech tank if you don't mind turning it back on manually after power outages. Dangerous product for fish with CO2.
