Clever Sheep Organic Wool Dryer Balls - 3 Pack

I just received my order and I've used them so far on only 4 loads of laundry. They worked wonderfully for my towels. However, I have noticed that every other load ended up with a lot of static cling. My whites came out especially bad and I ended up taking out the dryer balls and re-drying the load with a couple of dryer sheets. One of my reasons for purchasing dryer balls was to eliminate the need for dryer sheets. Perhaps I misunderstood all that the dryer balls would do. I thought the natural oils from the wool would serve as the static remover. I live in the West in the desert and consequently we have quite dry air. I even tried drying a load for a much shorter time to see it that would help. It still had the static cling. Any suggestions?

These wool dryer balls are the perfect natural alternative for dryer sheets! I have been slowly doing a lot of research on trying to switch out all of the chemical-filled products in my home with all-natural/organic ones. Unfortunately, even the so called "free & clear" dryer sheets can contain nasty chemicals. But not only do I want natural products, I want them to be cost effective & potentially save money. These dryer balls do both! They last a long time for a minimal expense (& I would spend a few extra dollars for organic too, which these are). You cannot get any more natural than sheep's wool. Just make sure what you buy is 100% sheep wool & nothing else. I am not certain my drying times are less (which wool dryer balls claim), but they are super quiet & the static result is just as good as dryer sheets. If you over-dry your clothes, it will cause greater static electricity, so try to avoid that. Fabrics like fleece will naturally cause more static as well. If you mainly do smaller loads, this 3 pack is just right for you. But if you do large to extra large loads often, make sure you get the 6 pack because that's how many balls you will need at one time. I am so happy I found such a great alternative to dryer sheets with these wool balls & I highly recommend everyone give them a try... I don't think you'll regret it!

Great product! Softens (not overly) clothes & really does a good job removing lint. I put a few drops of essential oil (lavender) on each ball which imparts a very light, refreshing scent on the clean, dry clothes. My only suggestion is: be sure to use the correct number of balls per load as dictated on the included instructions. For example, I only used three balls for my first few loads (which are generally on the large/xl size) & found quite a bit of residual static cling. After I ordered three more balls, I now use five or six balls per load & the static cling is considerably reduced or gone altogether. Much prefer over dryer sheets.

Several members of my family have sensitive skin and dryer sheets are not a safe bet for them. Additionally, I cloth diaper and babywear and dryer sheets are a no no for both of those genres. I'm happy to say that the reusable nature of the dryer balls is just one of their many benefits. They reduce trying time and soften the items in the dryer VERY effectively. We've been using them for just shy of a year now. VERY pleased!

Love them!!! We use them for our cloth diapers and they're amazing. The diapers come out soft with no lint left behind in them. Before we started using these, we constantly had issues with the cloth diapers having lint left behind. This easily took care of the problem and is safe for baby's sensitive skin.

I bought these so that I didn't have to use dryer sheets. I'm trying to cut back on waste and chemicals in my home but I think my clothes are more staticy than before I used these. I'm going to get an all natural, no chemical, dryer sheet or try using aluminum foil balls.

These are so great - soften laundry naturally. I have not had any static cling problems. I like these much better than the other wool dryer balls I was using - those unraveled and left lots of lint. These are made well and packed tight so they do their job without any side effects.

These do not work at all. Very disappointed . he only way they work even a little is if I use all three at the same time and even then clothes still come out with static. Don't buy these.

Arrived very quickly. I found that my laundry had a lot of static even when using all 3 of the sheep balls this came with. Went back to dryer sheets unfortunately and now have no issues with static. Won't purchase again

I have been using these dryer balls for over 1 year and they look like they did in day one. I love not having to use dryer sheets that have chemicals anymore.

As expected

I use 6 wool balls for a large load of laundry, cuts drying time almost in half. I add a drop of Lavender Essential Oil to one of the balls.

These wool dryer balls work so well! I’m very happy that I can get a similar result to a dryer sheet and live more sustainably.
