I purchased as a replacement for a similar Electcom product I had purchased in August 2022. Product was easy to set up and works well. Is a good value for the money. The older product was seldom used and worked fine until it just died 2 weeks ago - would not power up. Since I was satisfied otherwise with the older product, I have decided to give it another try with the Electcom Pro. The Pro has a good feature set, but I would have liked the USB port to support video formats such as mp4, mpeg

This is my second Electcom dvd player and I may buy a third. They are excellent multi region players and my first one is now about three years old ,and has not had a single problem. I have played dvd's from European countries on it in addition to dvd's that are made for the U.S. which is region number one. The picture is clear and the sound excellent. The remote functions as it should. I like the fact that it has RCA hookups in addition to an HDMI port. I recently had a $160 brand name unit crap out on me after less than a year's use, so I replaced it with an Electcom. The first one I purchased is being used by my mother, who at 87 years old is able to operate it without difficulty. They contacted me after my purchase just to make sure that I was satisfied, and when I had an issue with registering the second unit they helped me get it done without a hassle. When I find a good product at a reasonable price like their dvd player and get excellent customer service as well, I give them the review they deserve. The one year warranty is extended to three years if you register it and electronic products seldom comes with that length of a warranty. I'd like to see them come out with a Blue Ray player that performs as well as the dvd player does. They are a small business and I do support small businesses in general ,but especially when the experience is as good as it has been with Electcom! I don't think you can go wrong with an Electcom dvd player.

Overall I am I am veey happy with my purchase! Set up was simple and remote was pre-programmed (that is a major plus in my book as I am not very tech oriented.) Took some adjusting to adjust volume, but discovered I could turn tv volume up and them just turn dvd sound down and it worked well.I tried playing some cds on it, but sound quality was poor. Not real important to me as I have a cd player.I love the small compact size of this product. No bells and whistles, but works perfect for my needs and has a very, very reasonable price!

Being a senior citizen, I was impressed when I read that this DVD player was "senior friendly". I have been using my DVD player almost daily since I got it. Super easy to set-up and even easier to operate! I love the simplified remote with writing and icons large enough for me to see without having to use my glasses (where are they?). I highly recommend this unit to anyone who simply wants to plug the thing in and watch a movie. High Tech has finally been simplified!!!

The player failed after 20 minutes of playing the first DVD. So now you're wondering why 5 stars. After I e-mailed their support listing the problems they quickly replied with 2 options. A full refund, or a replacement unit shipped to me at no cost. I picked the later. The replacement unit is working perfectly.I have over 50 years in the electronics industry. In most cases, electronics are going to fail early in their life, or last a long time.

Electcompro is a wonderfully responsive company. I purchased the DVD player last year and used it regularly. It started to develop problems (my tech support brain guessed it may have been buffer memory errors). I reached out to Electcompro support and Mike responded quickly and efficiently. Mike resolved the problem WELL PAST my expectations. The model no. ELC-1910 is a basic DVD player, with enough features to make it a great buy at its cost. Added to that the company really stands behind their products, making this purchase a no-brainer.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a piece of junk! I ordered it because it has lots of reviews and over 30k purchases! It won’t play a simple dvd. It keeps opening and closing on its own. I put the remote on it to show I wasn’t operating it. I tried other dvds and cds and it’s the same issue. I ordered from another seller and my dvds and cds played well. Returning this junk for my money back! Not worth your money and time!**Edited! The customer service is really amazing I must say!! They reached out and sent me another dvd player at no cost! They didn’t demand for a positive review in exchange for the free player and that is commendable! The new one works better so maybe I got a bad one the first time 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s worth trying

If you are looking for a simple, functional DVD player (not BlueRay) this product offers the best value. It can read DVDs from all regions of the world; it supports all existing output formats (HDMI, RCA etc) and a front USB port that can playback mp3 and JPG files. It is so plug-and-play that setup takes less than 2 minutes if you already have 2 AAA batteries for your remote. The best feature I like is the OSD (on screen display) which gives you elapsed time and remaining time of your DVD so that you'll know whether to quit or keep going. And wherever you paused or stopped, it will resume playing from that spot next time you play.
