HID-Warehouse HID Xenon Replacement Bulbs - H11 8000K - Medium Blue (1 Pair)

Wanted brighter lights for my 2007 Dodge Nitro and took a shot a this lights as they were inexpensive and looked cool. When I first go them saw extra wires, I wasn't sure but I plug them in and to my surprise they didn't work. I was so disappointed and was about to return them, but something told me there was more to them as I had some extra wires just hanging and I figured they had to connect to something. After some research online and watching some videos on Youtube I found out that this lights needed some ballast in order for them to work, went back to Amazon and found some that were exactly for this lights. Once the ballast were in it was easy plug and play and there's no way you can get it wrong. Turned lights on and by what a difference in comparison to the yellow stock lights, these were way brighter and give it a nice look to it as well. Driving at night makes a big difference and I have better and further viability. I'm so happy with them that I'm now searching to get some for my girlfriends Toyota Solara. Remember these are great lights but you'll need to order ballast for them to work.

So I bought the wrong item 2x. Then I decided instead of looking at the pictures and winging it id do a lil research. I found out for my particular car I needed H3 9005. So I tried for a 3rd time and bought these light blue 6000k. They were plug and play, Install took 2 min. And they function no problem, seem nice and bright and not too too blue... Will report back if they break quickly.

---MARCH 7, 2018 Update ---- I installed the wire harness on my car for the HIDs and I haven't had any issues with the lights flickering or shutting off so far. The flickering of the light bulbs must of caused a premature malfunction of the bulb due to the car confusing the voltage necessary to power the HID bulbs. I will keep track of the time on how long these bulbs last on my car since there is a 2 year warranty,im expecting it to last 2 years. If you notice your lights flicker when you turn them on, than I believe the solution would be the HID wire harness to provide continuous power to the light bulb when the car is on. It's been working for me so far. I will update later on about life expectancy of bulbs and I added an extra star to the review. It's not 5 stars because it took about 5 days for the replacement light bulb to come in the mail and they sent me the two light bulbs separately due to their error. So I was driving around with my high beams on for about a week and a half. So I bought these light bulbs for my vehicle that has custom lights. Once installed, they had a nice white hue which was expected since thats the color I bought unlike some other ones I bought. These are great lights that light up nice, however, I dropped two stars mainly to the reason of how long it lasted and the warranty issue I had with them. First, I bought these bulbs in Sep16, 2017 and one of them burnt out in Feb 2018. So I dropped a star off because it did not last long. I noticed that they would flicker on and off and sometimes shut off when I'm driving. I did some research and found out that some vehicles have issue with keeping continous power to the bulbs. I just ordered a relay harness to see if it will solve my issue and if it does I will add a star to the review. The reason why I dropped another star making it a 3 star was because when my light bulb went out, I contacted HID warehouse about the issue and they wanted me to remove my bulbs and check (which is understandable) and then cut the wires of the bulb and send them a photo of them. So here I am waiting for the bulbs to come in because both of them ended up going bad (they received a picture of two bulbs) and driving around for a week without my low beams working, so instead I'm using my high beams to get around. Thinking that it would only take 2 days for me to receive the new replacement bulbs under the warranty, I got a package with only one bulb. Why the hell am I going to be driving around with one bulb for?! I'd rather take the risk of driving with high beams. So I had to purchase a new pair online because at least those will probably come in sooner then the ones they send under warranty.

Last year we went with another company to get a conversion kit for our 2013 Dodge Dart. Needless to say I hated the fact that the bulbs were all 9006 and the Dart has 9012 sockets. Well after cutting away at the tabs I managed to get them to fit. As it turns out I had a bulb go out and ordered new bulbs from the same company. 9006s again. Well it was my bad luck I must not have modified the tabs right because I couldn't get them to fit properly no matter what I did. Fed up I finally did a search for 9012 hid bulbs and found these. I quickly ordered them. THEY FIT!!! I was actually a little surprised and for 5 minutes I kept second guessing myself about them fitting. I couldn't believe how quickly they fit. I shouldn't be surprised but I'd been dealing with 9006 bulbs long enough I wasn't used to a bulb fitting properly so easily. Performance wise? They work beautifully. I connected them with 55 watt ballasts and did the other little connections and turned them on. They say medium blue but they are 8000k in color. These are perfect. They are very bright with a touch of blue. I plan on ordering another set just to have on hand if I ever have another bulb go out. For this price they are well worth it.

After searching Amazon reviews for a compatible connector for my existing ballasts, I finally found these H7 9003. When they arrived yesterday they did not come with a connector and wire protective housing (see pics) as reviews showed they did so that was the first disappointment, but I had purchased electrical tape to secure the wires and protect the connectors from moisture and dirt. So I was happy that I would be able to upgrade my older light with newer ones, but after connecting all the wires I found the light to be DOA (dead on arrival) neither light would turn on but my older lights still worked even though not as bright as when they where new. So to sum it up this product did not meet my expectations and was not QA tested clearly before shipping as it should have been. What should have been a plug and play turned into wasted time. Also to others looking to purchase these type of lights make sure you have a UL listed electrical tape to prevent moisture and debris from reaching the electrical wires, and always disconnect the car battery before working with electrical parts, safety comes first. Ok I want to start this review by saying the seller is great! They responded to all of my questions/concerns anytime I emailed them, they sent me a replacement for my high beam set because the first set didn't work. So when it comes to the company itself it's definitely ran by people who care to help when something is wrong and will work to fix the issue! Now let's talk about the lights....I ordered 3 different sets which was a 9003, 9005 and H7 6k 55W on all 3 the 9003 which was placed in a 97 civic was nice and bright and worked perfectly and continued to work until I decided to place LED in the car but the issue was with the 9005 and H7 which was placed in my 08 Subaru as I stated above the first set of H7 I received didn't work so they sent me a new pair well the passenger side worked but the driver side didn't I didn't even bother messaging because honestly I didn't want to wait for another set so I just put factory bulbs back in the high beams so now we get to my low beams 9005 set at first they worked great and were nice bright blue! Well now I can barely see with them because they've dimmed down so much and over the past month they lights don't even want to come on half the time I have to keep clicking my lights on and off over and over to get them to kick on my high beams kick right on because I was thinking maybe it wasn't an issue with the lights but like I said my high beams are working just fine and those are the stock bulbs I put in. I've had them for about a year now so that's my reasoning behind not contacting the company so I do want to make it known that the company hasn't been contacted about this my reason for that is because I figured I was past the time that they wouldn't send me a new working 9005 and H7 set. Like I stated above this is a great company they do help when something is wrong I'm just unfortunately pretty sure I'm past the 'fix' date and the 9003 set worked amazing it was just the 2 sets for the Subaru I had issues with.

Great exact 6k color. I had 2 Kensun slim ballasts and a set of capacitors laying around so I ordered these bulbs to complete the set. I then installed them in my 2001 E320. WOW now it looks like a new Benz at night! HIDs are still a better light than LED. It's much more reflective and penetrates the night better. 12 years of experience as an Electrician here. Pretty sure they are 35w bulbs. (55w blinds on coming traffic usually). I have been using them for a few months now and both headlights are the exact same color still. (I've had bulbs turn slightly different colors after just a few weeks) I'm very satisfied with HID Warehouse bulbs and will be replacing both my vehicles HID bulbs only EVERY fall now to alway insure the best light quality. For $12 you really should replace just the bulbs once a year. You wouldn't believe how much the lumen output fades over a years time. If u take my advice replace 1 side at a time and test this out you'll see it for yourself!
