I bought this a year ago to keep rain out of the cowl area below the front windshield for my Honda Fit 2016 (I had a leak and it may have happened because debris filled the tubes draining water from the windshield in the cowl area).It does the job adequately but the fit ain't perfect on the Honda Fit:It's a smidge too narrow across the top of the car to reach sideview mirror-to-sideview-mirror. Folding in the side mirrors is better. Not a big deal.There's nothing in the front of the Honda Fit that the front strap can hook onto. Instead, I loop it behind a bottom spoke on the hubcap of the front wheels, getting my fingers quite sooty when I fish it out from behind the spoke. It doesn't happen when removing it because you can just tug on the strap. The back strap hooks okay to the edge of the body at about 2 o'clock relative to the rear wheel. If there was a place in front for it to hook, that would be perfect. Solvable by folding and sewing the front straps to shorten.If the straps pulled forward to attach at the front of the car (there's nothing to attach to on the Fit), then it would be more windproof. Since the straps are going sideways to the front tires instead, it's not as taut and sometimes gets blown by the wind leaving the cowl near the windshield wipers exposed so water can get in and potentially cause a leak. I put a strong-ish magnet in the front to keep the wind from blowing it upward to expose the cowl area.I wish some differentiated making distinguished front from back or left from right; I've put it on pointing backwards several times, which leaves the front too short. A dab of nailpolish or using a Sharpie type marker solves this.This would be perfect on another type of car, and it's still pretty good on the Honda Fit.

I have a car that has begun to leak in the front window. This cover has been perfect for me to use. It's light weight making it manageable. The one problem Ihave with it is that it isn't completely flat on the top without really stretching the elastic ties. So, I pull it fairly taut and then put a couple bricks onthe top to make to fix the lack. It works. I'm thankful for it.

Has made my life easier when parking in an open lot on a snowy day. Fits 2017 Honda CRV. I leave it folded up in the back seat year round so it is ready to grab on the go.

2nd time purchased. First cover pretty well made, this cover does not fit very well. Materials are like the last one, durable and easy to install. Quality of manufacture is very poor on this unit ! Very disappointed needed repair because of inferior stitching on elastic bands which are shorter, putting more stress on the stitched joints, causing them to fail prematurely. If I were you, I would take a pass on this one !

too small for a ford explorer size vehicle

This is my second time purchasing this car cover. I use it to cover my mom’s old car that has a leak. The first cover I purchased was good quality and has lasted 7 months. I accidentally ripped it on her antenna last weekend and had to buy her a new one. The new one that arrived has 4 odd cigarette burn looking holes in it in random places. I am keeping it because it’s supposed to rain this week and it’s better than nothing. I’m looking for a sturdier cover now.

If done correctly, it won't sctatch anything. Putting it on is easy on my Santa Cruz. All one piece so no individual mirror stuff.
