I moved to the Chesapeake Bay and I started oyster gardening. I've used different gloves for crabbing but needed some for oyster gardening. When harvesting oysters if you don't use gloves you can get cut from the oyster and get infected where you could possibly die from Vibrio vulnificus. So you need a glove that is puncture resistant and these gloves are perfect. They protect my hands and are flexible enough to handle oyster shells too. They are also good for handling fish if that is what you want to use them for.

These were too large for my hands, but fit my guy friends hands well. Really good gripping texture and soft backing. If you're a lady with average or smaller hands, I don't recommend.

This product works very, very well. It was fast delivery, waterproof from the front, easy to use. I love them, going to order another pair for a friend.

I received the large sized gloves that are exactly what I want and 3 days earlier than expected. These are true to size and fit my longer fingers perfect (about 7 inches from the bottom of palm to tip of middle finger). Better yet is the quality. So I recently went on a little fishing trip and was forced to buy a pair of fishing gloves similar to these. They were half the price but the quality was stiffer on the fingers and palm of the hand. These are significantly more flexible and the rubberized palm and finger area are higher up on the glove which gives more water resistance coverage and better fish handling. I want to also mention that the fabric does go higher up on the wrists than the cheaper pair I bought which is awesome. Overall snag a pair and change your fishing game.

Honestly I'm very happy with the purchase so 5 stars by far. I think I got them for under $7, and they've already paid for themselves. Perfect for handling fish and mudpuppys and huge crayfish, as I've encountered lately, and they fit well enough I can do almost anything while wearing them, so my fingers are some what still nimble, but I definitely wouldn't try to tie on a hook with them. They're warm enough for above freezing weather but, definitely not suitable for really cold Temps. And, they take a bit to dry out after a busy day fishing, so if you go out the next morning and they're still wet.. Brrrrrr. Just the heads up, they're still A+!

Gloves are just "okay". This is the first pair of fishing gloves that I have purchased, so I don't have any experience in how well they are supposed to grip the fish. On the several occasions that I have used them. they don't seem to grip the fist as I would have expected them to.

I bought these gloves to help my hands when I handle fish after their catch and when I am cleaning some of my catch.First of all, they fit comfortably, and I can put them on and off fast.Second, they have protected my hands handling a catch on the boat.Third, they also protected my left hand when I am cleaning fish and hold a knife in my right hand without the right glove.Durability is TBD since I have not used the gloves for a long time...
