Rolaids Advanced Antacid Plus Anti-Gas 60 Chewable Tablets, Assorted Berry, Heartburn and Gas Relief

These are hard to find in the store and I think they work very well. I depend on Amazon to keep me stocked. Price is reasonable if you buy multi packs. Otherwise crazy expensive.

I love dairy products...milkshakes, ice cream, cheeses, etc- but they don't love me. I get serious bloat often accompanied by gas, even with lactose-free, soy or coconut-based products. Standard dairy often comes with intense intestinal pain. It's not ladylike at all, to say the least. I chewed two of these tablets for a heartburn issue but realized I felt absolutely NONE of my usual issues with the bowl of cereal I chose to eat that morning. I decided to experiment over the next few days. Sure enough, chewing two tablets just before consuming the dairy (even regular ones) completely prevented any undesirable effects. This accidental discovery made me super happy but also a little sad to know something more effective was readily available, and I just didn't know. Thus, I am sharing my discovery in hopes that it will help others. I have tried dang near EVERY lactose intolerant med out there, some herbal ones, most of the anti-bloat or anti-gas, and in fact found they did not work, worked very little, or created the silent but deadlies, which for me was more intolerable than the bloats or audible ones. I suggest giving these a try.

Chalky taste but they do work. Berry flavor is nice added touch.

Didn't like the taste

Really works well for me, a life saver. Use it as needed, tames stomach acid reflex.

I use these Rolaids regularly, but they are no longer available in drug stores, grocery stores, etc. Amazon seems to be the only place that sells them. I have a condition called a "Hiatal hernia", which causes me to have constant gas and prevents me from eating anything acidic like tomato sauce, oranges, pineapple, etc. Only the Advanced Plus Anti-Gas Rolaids work, not the plain ones. I am thankful I can still get them at Amazon.

Vitamins are a good thing. When my physician suggested more calcium , Rolaids chewable ! They have great a nice berry taste, barely chalky. Added bonus : the magnesium and simithicone ! Excellent price point.

I thought that since this product was labeled chewable it was the gummy one which I had used before but it was a hard chewable and leaves a nasty residue in my mouth. I will not purchase this item because of the problem I have with it. One good thing it does relieve heartburn and has as advertised.
